Fifteen: Queen Savvy
It has been a day since I left my son. I couldn’t bring myself to go home. The argument with Tobias still fresh in my mind and heart. I decide to go to the only place that I feel safe at. Not even my sisters or mother could make me feel safe right now. My best friend, she is the one I ran to. Izzy didn’t ask any questions. She took one look at me and held me while I cried my heart out. I don’t know how long she held me in her arms as I sobbed into her shirt. What I do know is that I needed someone to lean on and not expect anything in return. Over the years Izzy and I have become very close.
