Gone

Karyssa woke up to her phone buzzing. Shawns face lite up her screen. She got up and walked out of the room not wanting wake up Liam.

"What do you want Shawn?" She answered the phone.

"Well Good Morning to you wife."

"Do you have amnesia, we are officially divorced."She snipped.

"Yes, but you will come back eventually, but that's not why I am calling." He smirked.

"Then what do you want?" She questioned.

"I have news for you."

"Which is?" Her patience is wearing thin.

"I will be leaving the area. I'm tired of you sending someone who is annoying my one way or another." He seemed annoyed.

"What are you talking about?" She was confused.

"Taking my tires, ringing my doorbell all hours at night, hacking into my alarm system so it goes off and so much more." He's definitely annoyed.

"Well Shawn Karma. But I haven't sent anyone to annoy you or anything, I just want you out of my life." She's annoyed now.

"Well you get your wish I'm leaving this weekend, but I will be back." He hung up the phone.

She stared at her phone for a second until she heard movement coming from the room.

"Siren, what you doing up already? It's still early." Liam said between yawns.

"Just a phone call. Shawn says he's finally leaving." She glanced up at him a smile on her face. She ran over to him and jumped into his arms, kissing him. He stumbled backwards falling back onto the bed. She pulled back from the kiss.

"Well good morning to you too." He smiled.

"One problem down another to go." They got back to position to sleep and slept for a few more hours.

Karyssa woke up for a second time by her phone.

A picture of shawns car crashed.

Karyssa shot up from her bed gasping.

"Whats wrong?" Liam asked sleepy. Karyssa handed him the phone. "Whose?"

"Shawns." She tried calling him. Nothing.

She spent the rest of the morning pacing the apartment and calling around trying to get ahold of anyone who might know if he's okay.

Finally his mom finally answered the phone.

"What do you want?" She snipped at Karyssa.

"Have you heard from Shawn, he called this morning and I have a bad feeling now." Karyssa didn't know what exactly say.

"Yes I have he is on his way home, I spoke with him a few minutes ago. You need to leave him alone and quit trying to ruin his life." Karyssa knew momma bear was coming out but she was angry at the wrong person.

"I don't know what Shawn told you about our divorce, since you weren't there at court I can only assume it wasn't the truth." Karyssa was annoyed at the fact that everyone assumes she's the reason they got a divorce.

"My shawny wouldn't lie to me." His mom bragged.

"Well I hate to break it to you, he did, the reason me and your shawny got a divorce is because he decided when we got the news that we couldn't have a child together, he would go and sleep with his ex leaving me alone for 3 days to greave by myself." Karyssa was raising re voice now.

"Well you should have been more of a woman and been able to provide him with a child." Karyssas jaw dropped. She couldn't believe the woman who once thought of her as a daughter would say something like that.

"I would have given anything to give him a child. I'm glad we found out and he did what he did or I wouldn't have noticed how toxic our marriage was. So I hope he treats the next girl better than me." It was Karyssas turn to hang up on someone. She threw her phone onto the counter leaning against it and let out a long sign.

"So... I wasn't eves dropping." Liam making himself known. " I know I already heard what happen once but to hear it again, I still feel bad." He walked over to her.

"If you want a child really bad I know a guy who would be more than happy to volunteer t9 be your babydaddy." He said trying to lighted the mood. Wrapping his arms around her.

She gave him a look like really?

"What to soon?" He shrugged and chuckled.

"You want to go on a ride with me Siren." He asked putting his face in her neck, giving the area kisses.

"Uhu. Sure." The kisses were distracting her. Liam abruptly stopped.

"Good go get ready." He slapped her butt pushing her towards the room.

"Huh, what. Where are we going?" She asked.

"You'll find out. Just a heads up we are taking my bike." He said sitting on the couch.

Karyssa got dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, a red tank top.

They walked to his bike, he got on first and karyssa sat behind him, she wrapped her arms around his waist more like lower around the top of his hip area. She lifted his shirt a little so her hands would be under his shirt and he shuddered. And then they were off.

"Still not going to tell me where we are going?" Karyssa asked through the intercom of their helmets.

"Nope. You will see."
