I’m in shock my best friend is my brothers mate. Wow now that I think about it that does make sense he’s always been protective of her and he gets upset when she would date a guy then when her and said guy would break up he gets happy.

“I don’t know what to do Ava she’s your best friend you know her better than anyone else..how do you think she’s going to react?” I honestly don’t know “I think she will be in shock but once she gets used to it I think she will be happy to have you as a mate but dude you have to come out here because if you keep on hiding from her then you will never know how she’s going to react.” He sighs “alright I will be out there in a minute.”

Aces POV.

I’m scared to go out there and face her I’ve known she’s my mate for so long but she’s known nothing once I walk out there she’s going to realize that I’ve known I wonder if she’s going to be mad I never told her I was her mate or if she’s going to be glad that I didn’t tell her and let her find out on her own. Ok I think I’m ready I just need to stop overthinking this. As I walk back to the party I start to smell her god she smells amazing. Then when I get closer to her I hear her amazing voice say “mate.” But she just stares at me not moving like she’s deciding on if she wants to reject me or not. This is what I was scared for this is why I didn’t want to come out here. She’s going to reject me.

Madison’s POV

I’m talking to Ava as I smell something amazing I can’t quite make out what the smell is but when it starts getting stronger Kyle my wolf starts freaking out in my head she keeps on repeating “mate,our mate is here” and when I turn around I see ace. All I say is “mate” I can’t believe My mate is actually ace, my best friends brother is my mate. I’m happy like so beyond happy I’ve had a crush on him since I was a kid I’ve always imagined what it would be like for him to be my mate. Oh no.. I’m starring at him he probably thinks I’m going to reject him and at that thought Kyle starts whimpering. Crap I’m still starring so I run up to him and wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his arms around my waste and whispers “mine” in my ear which sends shivers down my body. He then kisses me and oh my gosh it’s like fireworks are going off.

Avas POV

I watch as Madison just stares at my brother not moving an inch the only word she said was “mate” but then she runs to him and hugs him I squeal because of how happy I am for a second there it looked like she was going to reject him and I could tell by the look in his eyes that he was thinking the same thing I’m glad she didn’t though. They are going to make each other very happy.

We are about to cut the cake as a car pulls in it’s a mustang red with black stripes down the middle “ah crap” i hear Madison whisper she runs at gets Noah and ace but I’m just standing there in complete shock as he gets out of his car I don’t move..I can’t my body’s frozen all I feel is Noah’s hand on my shoulder and he’s asking if I’m ok then I realize I’m crying but not because I’m sad but because I’m scared

Madison’s POV

I see a red and black mustang pull up and I know who it is as soon as he pulled in “ah crap” is all I could say Avas standing there frozen starring at the car so I run and get Noah and ace since I know she’s not going to move “Noah, ace you need to go get be with Ava someone’s here and he might no scratch that he’s going to start a fight” ace and Noah run faster than they ever have before Noah’s by her side in a heartbeat and I realize she’s crying gosh I hate him and what he did to her.

Noah’s POV

Madison comes running up to me and says somethings wrong with Ava so Ace and I run to her when I get there she’s in tears I put my hand on her shoulder asking if she’s okay then I look up to see him.. Jackson.. her ex.. the one that abused her and r**ed her. I can’t hold him back, my wolf is fighting to get out. I wish I could have killed him when I first found out but he was gone, left with no trace. Next thing I know I’m shifting and standing in front of Ava growling at Jackson he’s walking slow with his hands in the air.
