Marissa's POV:
I could not believe that this day had finally come. I finally got what I had always wanted. A chosen man that I actually got to choose for myself. A chosen man that my father did not choose for me. My facial expressions could not contain the overabundance of excitement that I was feeling. It was as if I was going to get to show off my chosen man in town. I was going to get to show him off by holding his arm, walking around flaunting him as we were going to be shopping around everyone else in town.
