Ale found herself infront of a three story apartment building heading inside with a older man who said the phone was inside . Before ale knew she was inside a abandoned apartment with the deadbolt locked on top of ale was a man with the name Marlyn tattooed on his neck . That day ale lost her virginity and not at all how she imagined as the situation was wrapping up ale found herself praying to a god who she no longer believed in but what Ale did know is that she did not want to die . As soon as she was done the man got off her and opened the dead bolt like as if something ripped him off . Ale who’s pants were full of blood & face matched from resisting ran so fast she’s stopped feeling her legs .she eventually found a girl her age and a boy and followed them to ask to use the phone the girl brought ale to her mother who then called the cops and ale ended up in the hospital . To again be forgotten by the system she was thrown into to be told she was not believed until the guy did it again to someone younger & killed the girl years later . Ale was placed in her last group home before she aged out five miles away from where she was r***d . Ale turned 18 and got her own apartment to later run into jay the same boy who would go to her grandmas . At age 18 ale married jay in hopes of the family that had left her behind so many years ago . Only to result in a divorce at age 25 . Ale had to find herself and beat the odds of people who grew up how she did . The moral of this story is you are not forgotten you are not unworthy life can be unfair but don’t ever think your alone even if it feels that way . You can do anything you set your mind to . Don’t let the fact you grew up in a very broken system define you I am 29 years old writing this my only family member . I put myself through college and walked myself across that stage graduating. There is no correct age limit to accomplish life by you move at your own pace as long as you pass the finish line ! One thing I will always live by is “ look at the bright side of every situation.”
