Chapter 55Charles removed Mrs. Jones' hands that were embracing his legs. He couldn't believe the woman who raised him was an evil.
He felt so bad because of all the things that happened in his life. He was stolen a couple of years to be with Elizabeth and their child.
"He felt like his heart was stabbed by a sharp knife. He was supposed to be with Elizabeth when she gave birth to their son but because of his own mother, he lost that chance. He missed those moments with his child. He was supposed to be there while he was growing old and witness his milestones but he was not given a chance because of the deception."
Charles felt like his heart was being squeezed with the realisation that he had been a toy of Mrs. Jones and Elaine. The two women made a fool out of him.
