Well, at least I'd win this one. I thought there was no way we'd come in second place, and thanks to Mina, we didn't. She pushed me the whole way, and I was over the moon to see the finish line.
Grasping Mina's hand, we broke through the tape, met with cheers from Coach Scott and our teammates.
"Yes!" I exclaimed, pulling Mina into a tight hug and spun her around. "First place!"
