The next day during breakfast, an over excited Ashley burst into the room and was shrieking „I have organized a boat trip! We will depart in 1 hour. Let us get ready,” This caused everyone to jump up and the air was buzzing. Jonathon cleared loudly his throat, which caused everyone to stand still. Gloria was keeping herself in the background and just observing the room. She thought to herself on how big the boat had to be to be able to get so many people on a boat. She was not surprised about Jonathon taking the lead back.

An Alpha wants to be the dominant person. It was their nature. “My dear pack.,” he started.

Everyone froze. Would he cancel this event? Ashley started to pout and looked upset.

A beautiful girl with an amazing body approached him and sheepishly smiled at him whilst battering her eyes. „Come on Jon. Let us have some fun together. “

Gloria did not miss the double meaning and was curious about Jonathon’s reaction. She felt the jealousy rising however did not want to be one of the weak girls shouting and crying around and creating a scene. If he wanted to misbehave it would hurt, her a lot but it was his choice and she would have to take the consequences from this. It would be not easy living without a pack. She shook her head in order to get rid of the negative ideas. She wanted to concentrate on now.

Jonathon did let this girl touch him, but his facial feature remained the same. There was no emotion showing and unflustered he continued with a booming voice “Let us go to the boat and enjoy ourselves. It is important that we strengthen our pack link.”

He had untangled himself from the she-wolf whilst he moved to the middle. There was lots of cheering and shouting. The she-wolf jumped into his arms and kissed his cheek whilst saying, “You are the best!”.

Gloria’s heart was aching. Jonathon just smiled and let her hug him. Gloria was trying not to show that the hug and the kiss had upset her. She tugged one of her hair behind her ear. Her position within the pack was still not established. Jonathon being the Alpha was obviously accepted as the leader and knew his position very well. He was the center of all the attention.

Did he perhaps just use her to satisfy his needs? Was she one of his toys?

Jonathon feeling her distress looked at her. She was in the corner trying to control her feelings. He let go immediately of the she-wolf and came to her. He did not engage on what had happened and just asked “Are you excited about the boat trip?” “Yes, I guess so,” she hesitantly said. She looked up to understand his feelings. She did not know him yet so well, that she could read him. She did not want to appear jealous either, but the she-wolf was glaring behind him at her. She decided honesty was the best way forward whether he liked it or not.

“Who is that she-wolf, who is behind you?” He turned quickly back and caught the girl giving evil looks to his mate. He growled loudly. “Is there a problem Steph?” “No Jon, of course not.” The girl pretended and was looking even more upset. He turned back to look at his mate, who seemed surprised by his action. He lowered himself to her level and kissed her whilst having his hands on her face. After awhile they broke up the kiss and she dreamy eyed looked at him. “I should ask more often questions,” she giggled. “Get ready, Babe,” and gave another slap on her back and send her to her room. Ian and Ashton came to him as soon as Gloria was out of the hearing distance.

“Wow, you have two she-wolfs wanting you. I wish I would be in your place. I would know what to do with these two,” Ian said winking at him. He had been always the naughtier one. Jonathon had to control his urges to snap his neck and was only growling.

“Steph is unmated as far as I know, so go for it. However, should you touch my mate, I will break your neck.”

Ian took a step back and looked shocked. “Man, I am just joking. Take it easy,” Ian was trying to ease the tension. Ashton, who had observed the scene, looked rather thoughtful. He could understand Jonathon’s reaction. Ian had been the “I do not want to have a mate and just want to enjoy my freedom” type for as long as he knew him. He had to respect at some point their future Luna. Respecting her felt the same as giving up on their friendship. She was an intruder to Ian. Ian decided at that point when his best friend growled at him the second time that he would make her suffer for it.

Jonathon usually quite calm could see that Ian was planning something unpleasant. He was not having it. He mind linked Steph to come back. Steph over eagerly almost run towards him. “Yes, Alpha?” “Ian and Steph, I would like that you stay behind and are aware of your actions. Actions have consequences,” “But Alpha” “But Jon” both simultaneously started. “No discussion!” he said without raising his voice however the treat was evident in his voice. Both remained quiet. “You both need to learn to accept your future Luna. The sooner you learn it the better it will be. I will not allow any disrespect or scheming planning. We are an honest pack, who support each other,”

Both looked ashamed but he would not fall for any act. He knew both well, one perhaps too well and he would have to speak with Gloria about that at some point.
