Leah pov
I knew mom had a fight today, i tried to talk her out of it, that is my sister or brother that's inside of her, i don't want anything to happen to her, I had heard that Alyssa had a baby girl a few weeks ago, she was further along than we are, I knew we had to be careful because what i understand someone is after pur pups, due to them being powerful or some sorts or another, let them try and take my pup, i'll rip their freaking head right off their shoulders, I don't understand why people have to mess with pregnant women, or try and take their babies away from them, if i catch someone near me trying to take my pup like i said, i'm going to kill them, My parents were finally home, i could see their car pulling up the driveway, i really hope that she's okay, When they parked the car they got out, mom was still in her fighting gear, what did she do? take the money and run or something?
“Mom, why are you still in your fighting gear? you usually change in the locker room when you're done fighting, so what's the deal?” She brought out her duffle bag, throwing it over her shoulder,
“Nice to see you to honey, i didn't want to stay there a second longer, if anyone knew this was my last fight due to me being pregnant, they would had tried to get me to do another fight, I wasn’t going to take that chance, and before you even ask, yes the baby is doing good, Kayla kept her safe while i was fighting, so what brought you and Kodi over here for?”
“Mom, i was just worried about you, You shouldn't be fighting right now, but i know how you are, also, I was wondering or Kodi was wondering if He could have a chat with dad, he won't tell me what its about, but he is eager to talk to him,” l looked over at my mate, he had a sneaky look on his face, what did this man have planed, He won't even tell me, even when i tried to read this thoughts, he has them blocked from me, this is a pain in my a$$,
Kodi pov
I told Leah i was wanting to go over to her parents pack so I could speak to her father, she kept asking me what it was about, but i wouldn't tell her, what i wanted to do is do a baby shower for her and her mother, she knew i was up to something, She will just have to keep guessing what i needed from her father, When they finally gotten home, i was so relieved, Leah wouldn't stop asking me what i wanted to talk to Brandon about, it was annoying, but i wouldn't tell her that, if a freaking leaf fell on the ground she would snap at it, We all went inside, Brandon took me into his office while Leah and her mother went into the family room to talk,
"Alright Son, what's going on, Leah kept telling me to hurry home so she can find out what's going on, so what's going on so i can tell her a bunch of bullshit so I can get her off my back, what do you have planned, Kodi?” I wanted to laugh, but i dared not to, i didn't want my head bitten off, so i told him my plans,
‘Well for starters, I want to have like a baby shower for her and her mother, we can have a cookout, nothing really big, but you know the pack they will want to get so much stuff for them, its just a party to celebrate the mothers,”
“I think it's a good idea, but how are we going to keep this from our mates? you know Carla is a smart woman, so is my daughter. They will figure it out. We just need to be careful with this. When do you want it to happen?” i thought about it for a few minutes, and then said,
“How about in three days? That way, everyone can enjoy it,”
‘Sounds like a plan, lets head to the family room, before they think we are planning something, we both got up to join the ladies in the family room, they were both, sitting on the couch watching some kind of movie called the wolf man and eating chips. we both sat down to watch the movie with them, i jumped when something ran passed a tree and the guy shot his gun, damn, i hate scary s**t like that, it makes it exciting but damn., now the man is on a Cb Talking to a cop talking about it, geesh, if it was happening to me, i would had went after it and ripped its heart right out of it, it's just crazy, when the movie was finally over, we got up to leave, not before Leah spilled the beans,
‘So, when is the surprise party going to happen? i slumped my shoulders. Can't i ever do anything without her even knowing, than i said,
‘Can I do anything without you even hearing or knowing about it?” she giggled and said to me,
“If you didn't want me to know about it, you should had closed the office door, come on, let's head home, i'm starving, and you can tell me all about the cookout once we get home,” I playfully rolled my eyes at her, pretending i was mad at her, i should had known to close the door, our wolf hearing is really good, damn that wolf hearing,
