Alpha Cross pov
When Susan came into my office asking me about my beast and the full moon, i never would think one of my pack members would tell her about him, it was pretty bad for awhile until they learned to lock me up in the cell with coated chains of wolfbane and silver, she wants to meet him. I was worried about what would happen if I couldn't control him. He would jump on her and mate her, maybe even rip her apart, I can't chance that. but i promised her she would get to meet Criss,
“Criss, you better be on your best behavior tonight. i'm taking this chance to let you meet your mate,”
“Oh please, Human, it's not even the full moon, I know it's in three days, and usually i feel on edge about it, I start to feel the effect before it even comes, but this time its different, I want to meet my mate. I won't hurt her.” I thought about what he had said, He was right, usually before the full moon i feel him being antsy, wanting to come out and mate, but this time it's different, maybe finding Susan is good, i wasn't really looking for my second chance, i was there for the alpha meetings, get drunk and than laid then i would head home, but that meeting was a lot different than the others, im happy now, sighing i knew i needed to meet Susan in the woods, She had already mindlinked me letting me know she was heading outside, so i told Criss once again, to be on his best behavior, taking off my shirt and shoes, i headed outside into the woods, i reminded myself i didn't even know what Susans wolf looked like, Shes an ivy, Old folks tales had said that the Ivys are dangerous would go after anyone that would harm their child or their family, they would stop at nothing to take their revengage they would clean out clans and packs, its the reason why they had to hunt them all down, i think She is the last of her kind, it makes me wonder how dangrous she could be, i really didn't want to find out either,
Making it out to the woods, i saw her standing by the old oak tree. That girl was about two thousand years old. I thought about chopping her down, but instead, i kept her,
‘Are you ready to head out? I was thinking we could go into the woods and shift so no one could see us?” Susan had said,
“Sounds like a good plan to me, i don't want anyone thinking i was going crazy early,” we headed into the middle of the woods about thirty minutes away from the pack house, we stripped down to nothing only having our bare bodies underneath the moonlight, I watched her shift and then i shifted hoping that Criss would not cause any trouble, Her wolf was larger than mine, she had green eyes with a little gold around them and her fur was as black as night with just a little white around her head, she was beautiful. My wolf was also black, well built since i shift all the time and go on runs with him, he had dark Yellow eyes with a little gold around them, I heard him speak to her wolf,
Hello my mate. I think it's about time i finally get to meet you, my human had blocked me from talking to you so i wouldn't scare you,” tilting her head to the side as she was listening, i think she even had a smirk on her face she came near sniffing Criss then nudged him with her snout,
“Oh i wouldn't had been scared, I was wondering why you haven't spoken to me, your very handsome indeed, i'm surprised you're not scared of me for how I look,” I heard him chuckle at her, than tilted his head,
“Your not scary at all. You're beautiful, I was wondering why I haven't felt on edge about the full moon. Now I know why. You are truly my mate, I will no longer go crazy, but just crazy for you.”
Queen pov
Is this wolf forreal, i knew what he was trying to do, he was trying to flirt with me, he sucked at it, I was finding all kinds of spots i could kill him, he was leaving himself open, I know he wasn't a weak wolf, he would give me a run for my money, I wasn't scared of him at all, i was very attractive to him, i walked up to him nudging him with my snout, How could i even think about trying to kill my mate, I knew what was wrong, i kept thinking of her first mate, how he treated her, i wanted to kill that man, i wanted to rip his heart out and shove it down his throat, but first he would have to come find us, i'm going to need to make it easy for him, like go out to eat with a friend or go shopping by ourselves i knew it was dangerous, but i also knew we needed to end this once and for all, i was tired of my human running away, now that we found our second mate, i wanted us to stop running, its the only way, we can't keep running away, We ran through the woods together hunting a few rabbits and a deer or two, I watched him hunt then he had watched me, i was a little aggriseve, but so was he, i had to shake it off when i saw him take down the deer, he had it by the head ripping it right off, he watched mem as well, i wasnt that aggrissve, but i knew i made him have a chill when i ripped the deers stomach open with my fangs, once we where done meeting and playing around, it was time to let our humans back control, we ran until we where close to the pack house than shfited back to our humans,,
Criss pov
It was all fun and games when i noticed she kept looking at me, she was trying to figure out ways to kill me, but i knew she wouldn't act on it, i couldn't believe how big and beautiful she really was, I was thinking she was going to be a small wolf and i would tower over her, but that wasn't the case, she towered over me just by an inch, we ran and played around, We also hunted a few rabbits and deer, i had to shiver when she tore that deers stomach open, it was time to give our humans back control, i was thinking why should i, i was having to much fun, but it wouldn't be fair if i didn't give Cross back, He's stronger than anyone even thinks he is, he would fight for control, and he will get it, once we shifted back to our humans, i heard him mindlink me,
“If you ever think you wouldn't let me have control, i will never shift again, and just let you go weak, you had your fun, if your not antsy tomorrow we will shift again to let yall out, no funny stuff,” i huffed going in the back of his mind, i could howl and give him a huge headache, stupid humans, why did the moon goddess have to give me a stubborn human,
Susan pov
I could tell that Criss was stubborn. He liked being in control, i was a little worried he wasn't going to let Cross back out, but he did,
“Queen, you need to speak to your mate, let him know not to be stubborn all the time, i know he likes control but we need to come back out so we can work and help the pack, he can be incontrol in a few days we will go for a run again,”
“He knows, i had already told him, he's a stubborn one, He's not used to having a mate, well i'll just have to put him in his place, he can put us in danger if he keeps up like that,
