ChapterNine - To Minnewanka Lake

The girls headed off to school after a hearty breakfast and met up with their friends at their usual meeting place under a white birch tree.
“Hey ladies,” Lawrence said as he walked up to them “Just wanted to say goodbye. I know itʻs your last day and all” and he gave each of them a red Lily.
“Aww, thank you, Lawrence, thatʻs so sweet of you. Thank you for being so thoughtful” Holly said “Hey, how bout we meet next weekend when we come to visit?”
“Holly, I donʻt think thatʻs a good idea right now. We need to get settled in and registered for school and all” Cinth said with a glaring look at Holly that she understood
“Oh yeah, sorry I forgot our schedule is gonna be busy for a bit. But once things settle down, we will definitely let all of you know so we can hang out” she said smiling at Cinth who smiled and agreed.
By the end of the day, the girls were leaving with gift bags, goodies and farewell balloons, all teary-eyed as they headed back home to the cottage. Ro and Grant were already waiting for them when they got there and saying goodbye to their 2X2ʻs were even more heartbreaking than saying goodbye to their friends. Grace assured them that they could visit anytime.
Ro and Grant said their goodbyes as well and they headed to Minnewanka Lake.

Sabien was frustrated because he knew there was a block on the girls. He fumed at the thought that he was made out, but how? How did they find out? He was careful but apparently not enough. He knew Holly could feel his presence because she kept looking around as if someone was watching her. She must have told her sisters and maybe among themselves they put up the block.
He would get into Hollyʻs head and manipulate her mind and get her on his side. Together they will take Magie Ancienne and he will rule as the great Dark Sorcerer he is destined to be.

Constance dove into her research of sorcery beyond the veil. What she found out was both worrisome to her for the girls but yet intriguing to her as a Sorceress.
“Grace?” she softly said as Grace sat in her rocking chair mending an old shirt
“Yes Constance?” Grace answered
“I believe I may need to go to Minnewanka Lake as well. It seems the information Iʻve been researching will mean that the girls will need extra fine-tuning of their sorcerers' skills. I do believe our communion is capable but they are not aware of the information I have found” she said
Grace looked up from her mending with soft eyes “you need to do what is best for our babies, I understand” she replied
“I will make the trip daily. Leave before the girls get home from school and come back after they have gone to bed” Constance claimed
“Nonsense Constance, you will be there with them always. You donʻt know when something comes up and they will need you” Grace stated
“Yes, that is true. I will use the time they are in school to train the communion. That way we are all on the same page” Constance sniffled
“Hey, no tears. We have better powers than video chatting, we can teleport any time we like. Iʻll be there when I can, youʻll be here when you can. AND I donʻt want you forgetting about Warren either. He is such a sweetie so make sure you make time for him as well” Grace scolded as they came in for a hug.
“Now, why donʻt you tell me what you found and what plans are you going to incorporate to keep our babies safe?” Grace said, patting the chair next to her rocker.
Constance takes a seat with the book and her notes and begins…..
“Iʻve been doing some research of powers beyond the veil and it seems there are 3 ways Sabien may approach this. One is mind control, two is to inhabit the body of a person and three inhabit the body of an animal. If Sabien was indeed working to get to Holly it could mean heʻd utilize any of the three. However, once he chooses, it is the only choice he can make. Holly will need to be strong and learn to recognize which avenue he is taking and not allow him to succeed” Constance trailed off
“And if he does succeed?” Grace asked
“It will be an internal war between Holly and Sabien” she continued
“And if Holly concedes?” Grace looked at her worried
“We could lose her to the Dark powers. The upside is that Holly has her sisters. It is my hope that together they could win” again Constance trailed off
“But?” Grace asked
“But if we are to train her to hone in on her powers, she would be stronger than her sisters, unless….”Constance thought
“Unless you train them all equally so they can be stronger together right?” Grace asked
“Yes, but there could also be a chance that they ALL turn to dark. Remember when the babies were young and we found out that there was a possibility that they all may have retained some sort of dark sorcery? It could backfire if they are not careful and in fighting for the light they could be pulled into the dark” Constance revealed.
Worry crossed Graceʻs mind. “Well, I think then, we will all need to train. The more strength the girls have behind them the better their chances of coming to light sorcery. Donʻt you think?” Grace asked
“Yes, definitely” Constance smiled at her dear friend. “I will speak to Ro and Grant when I get there and update them on the findings,” Constance said
“When will you be leaving?” Grace asked
“In a few days. Iʻll be teleporting my important books and notes over the next couple of days, so yeah, in a few days” she said as she looked over to her friend. “Grace? Youʻve done an excellent job in raising Ro and the girls. They are better people because you love them”
“Now, now Constance, I canʻt take all the glory. You were here with me as well making sure Ro especially got the training she needed to fulfill her prophecy and youʻve also been instrumental in helping me raise the girls as well. Heck! If not for you, weʻd only have 2 of the 4 girls. You brought Holly and Cinth to us. I am forever grateful to you, my friend” Grace said as they both smiled then giggled like school girls.
“Well it looks like we have our work cut out for us” Grace giggled
“Us?” Constance looked bewildered
“Why yes! If we are all going to train to support our babies then Iʻll have to be there as well right? Besides, I figured we could cloak the cottage and the farm in a sleeping spell when we are not here. That way our plants and animals wouldnʻt need attending to” Grace chimed
“What a great idea, Grace! Plus, Iʻd love to have you with me” Constance replied.
“Girls trip!!!” they both giggled
