3rd Person POV Theodore sat in front of his grandfather, Henry, the former king of the Royal Moon Pack, now in his late seventies. Despite his age, Henry continued to oversee the well-being of his pack. Theodore, the current Alpha King, always sought his grandfather’s approval before making any major decisions regarding their people. "Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, as well as my birthday. Do you remember it, right?" Henry asked, a playful twinkle in his eyes. Theodore raised an eyebrow, waiting for what was to come next. "Yes, I remember everything. But you can skip the theatrics and just tell me what you want, old man," Theodore replied, rolling his eyes, already aware of his grandfather’s affinity for receiving gifts in the exact way he liked. "That’s why you’re my favorite. For this year’s birthday, I want a promise from you," Henry said, his tone turning serious. "What promise?" Theodore asked, a flicker of suspicion crossing his face. "You will marry the woman I choose for you." Theodore’s eyes widened, shocked by the unexpected request. "No way am I getting married so soon," Theodore responded, crossing his arms over his chest in defiance. "Young man, I’m not saying you’ll marry tomorrow. First, I’ll find the right bride for you, and only then will you marry. It’s not like I already have someone in mind. You have time to enjoy bachelor life," Henry explained, his voice softening. "Fine, I’ll marry whoever you choose," Theodore reluctantly agreed, realizing it was futile to argue. Henry’s face lit up, and he clapped his hands loudly, signaling the arrival of the other family members. "Sophia, did your plan work?" Lucas asked, his gaze shifting to Theodore, who narrowed his eyes at his grandfather before glancing at the others, whose faces were now filled with nervous anticipation. "It was a foolproof plan from the beginning," Theodore muttered with a sigh. Before anyone could say anything further, Henry’s phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, he smiled. It was his beloved granddaughter, Samantha. "How are you, my princess?" Henry asked over the phone, his voice filled with warmth. However, as he listened, his expression shifted to one of quiet resolve. "You’ve done the right thing, princess. Bring her here with you. We’ll figure out the details later," Henry said, ending the call before turning to face the family. "What happened, Papa?" William, Theodore’s father, asked, sensing the shift in the room. "Samantha, while investigating child marriage cases in a village, met a widow. The poor girl is being abused by her aunt and grandmother. Samantha has saved her and wants to bring her here. I’ve given her permission to bring the girl tomorrow," Henry explained. "But we can’t let anyone stay here without knowing their background," Theodore protested, disapproving of the idea of an unknown person staying in their palace. "Samantha wouldn’t bring someone dangerous here. You know that. She’s one of the best advocates in the kingdom," Henry said, his voice firm. Theodore fell silent, knowing his cousin’s intelligence and sharp instincts. --- On the day of Thanksgiving, the entire kingdom of Royal Moon Pack buzzed with excitement. The holiday wasn’t just about the celebration; it was also because their cherished princess, Samantha, was returning home after a month. Theodore was equally excited to welcome his little sister home. Despite being only two years younger than him, she would always be his little best friend. No matter how much older she grew, he would
