Anthony carefully counted, realizing that Preston's original subordinates, after being relentlessly hunted down by the Kodo beasts and the Predators, had dwindled to less than twenty.
He picked five of the most quick-witted among them to work alongside him.
The remaining dozen or so, Anthony handed over to Hairy.
Gazing through his binoculars, Anthony saw that the Predators were still struggling with the Kodo beasts.
"After this ordeal, sticking around in the bushes is no longer an option."
"A fresh wave of Predators has emerged. Once they shake off the Kodo beasts, they'll definitely follow their trail and eventually discover our sky fortress," Anthony said slowly.
