"Oh, so sending Ivy out wasn't about slipping away from Ford, but to have her scout the terrain for you, huh?"
As Sandra looked at Anthony and Ivy, she suddenly realized.
Anthony chuckled, a knowing smile playing on his lips, but he didn't say a word.
His silence was louder than words, and his expression said it all.
Anthony never saw Ford as much of a threat, so he naturally didn't need Ivy to take people out to preserve some strength.
"So, aside from mapping the terrain, did you stumble upon anything interesting during the patrol?"
Anthony asked with a cheerful smile.
"Leader, on our way back, we found a dozen or so of Ford's men near a mountain hollow."
Ivy replied.
"What!"
Anthony's eyes widened in surprise; he truly hadn't expected Ford to have any hidden cards at this point
