“May kasalanan rin naman tayo kaya next time hindi niyo pwedeng gawin iyon,” sabi ni Gin habang nakaupo sa upuan. Sa ngayon, pauwi na kami and the sun is rising. I can’t believe we stayed there until morning came. We’d like to sleep pero pinapagalitan pa kami ni Gin dito dahil sa nangyari.

“He picked on you first,” Kali reasoned out.

“Still,” he said. “Sila pa rin ang masusunod,” Gin added.

“Why? Dahil ba mas may rank sila when it comes to being Spirit Caster?” sagot naman ni Kali.

“Yes,” Gin replied without hesitation.

“Then is it right to hurt you then?” Kali asked at tumayo si Tempest. “See? Even your brother is against it,” Kali added.

Hindi na nagsalita si Gin at sumandal nalang siya. He grabbed Tempest’s hand para umupo siya ulit. For a couple of minutes, we stayed silent. All we are hearing right now is the sipping of our coffees and the rails of the train. I do understand Gin pero hindi rin naman tama ang ginawa ng mga iyon. We can’t just sacrifice the innocent lives para hintayin sila when in fact we can also fight- well, Kailani defeated it on his own though.

“Kali has a point though,” biglang sabi ni Argo kaya napatingin kami sa kanya. “We can’t jsut let our captain be hurt like that,” he added with a lustful smile.

“Stop seducing my brother,” biglang sabi ni Tempest at tumawa siya.

“As if I am,” Argo replied at tumayo siya. “I’ll go get some fresh air,” he added at lumabas siya. I can’t help but glanced at Lor, he is skinny and he is pale. He has bruises everywhere yet he is still with Argo. Is he enduring the pain because he has this aggressive partner? How unfortunate.

“I’ll go grab some food,” sabi ko at tumayo ako. I glanced at Kailani and he signalled me to go and he’ll sleep kaya umalis ako.

I went to the cafeteria and as expected, the people who saw me bowed down. First class ito pero hindi lang royalties ang makaka-afford nito kaya nandito rin ang iba just like businessman, other government officials and even high ranked soldiers. Hindi naman nila ako dinidistorbo o ano kaya okay lang. One bow is enough. Kumuha ako ng pagkain at umupo sa bakanteng table. Nagulat ako nang may umupo sa harapan ko at may dala ring pagkain.

“Lor, right?” I asked and he nodded with a smile.

“I’m sorry for being rude but may I join?” he asked. Nakaupo na siya though.

“Sure,” sabi ko.

Nagsimula na kaming kumain at hindi maalis sa aking paningin ang mga pasa na nasa katawan niya. I think he noticed it because he stopped eating ang he glanced me kaya umiwas kaagad ako ng tingin.

“You must be wondering where these bruises came from,” bigla niyang sabi kaya napatigil ako sa pag kain at napatingin sa kanya. I nodded and he just smiled. Is he happy he got that? Is he crazy?

“Is it from Argo?” I asked and he nodded with a smile.A SMILE?!! WHY IS HE SMILING?! “So the rumors are true, he’s a sadist,” sabi ko at kumunot ang noo niya.

“He’s not,” he said at tumigil rin siya sa pag kain. “He’s …kind,” he added at nagualt ako. Those bruises don’t have any kind vibes though. Is he crazy?

“Kind?” I asked and he nodded. He touched his bruises and he smiled.

“Noon una ko siyang nakita, I was really afraid of him. Rumors were spread everywhere such as r****g Prince Kali’s partner. I mean, it’s kind of true but nothing really happened but it almost did. It was my fault he berserked,” he said and I raised one of my brows.

“Why is that?” tanong ko.

“You see, Argo is possessive but not that much. He needs my blood and I need his too. It has always been like that. I came from family of vampires after all.” he said and I froze. Vampires?! VAMIPIRES EXIST?

“I-I see,” utal-utal kong sabi at uminom ng tubig dahil sa gulat. I can’t just show him how surprised I am. He might freak out.

“These bruises are actually bite marks made by him and I loved it,” he said with another huge smile. I can’t believe these kind of people exist! They’re enjoying each pain. “Well, back to the topic. That night when Nieve almost got hurt, we had a fight and I did not show myself for 3 days. He needed blood and Nieve was there serving him. Prince Kali and Nieve may not forgive him but to be honest, he tried holding back but he lose. He was about to bit Nieve and then he stopped, timing naman na pumasok si Prince Kali that time kaya mukhang ganon nga ang kumalat na rumors.” he added.

“W-Well, I see,” tipid kong sagot. Hindi ko rin naman kasi alam kung anong isasagot ko.

“He’s actually interested in you,” bigla niyang sabi at muntik ko nang maibuga ang tubig na kakainom ko lang ulit. “Not you and your body, but your strength.” he added at napatango ako kasi hindi ko rin naman alam kung anong gagawin niya sa lakas ko. He's also strong, he doesn't need someone like me. I mean, why do he need my strength in the first place?

“Strength? Why? I came from mainland, you know and he know we’re rivals,” sabi ko at ngumiti siya.

“Prince Argo,” he said. “He doesn’t like how his father lead so he actually had this promise to Prince Kali that whatever happens, we will be on your side.” he added.

“Is it because he felt guilty about doing something to Nieve?” I asked.

“A part of it, yes. But- his main reason is really his father. I’m sure alam niyo na, his father wants to take over mainland,” he replied. The King’s prediction is correct. “Prince Argo is against that so he is trying his best to be strong to stop his father and be useful in mainland,” he added. But this, it's unexpected.

“What if he needs to kill his family?” I asked and he smiled with sadness and pain.

“He killed his mother,” bigla niyang sabi at nabitawan ko ang hawak kong kutsara.

“H-H-He what?!” I exclaimed.

“He killed his mother. The Queen is young like us and took an interest on me so he kept on calling me to her room ordering me to drink her blood and be his partner. At first I kept drinking her blood but it felt so wrong so I stopped. Prince Argo never knew about that not until the Queen stabbed me,” he said and he raised his upper uniform. Bumungad sa akin ang tatlong stab wounds sa dibdib niya. “Their family is crazy but I have no one else but him. Since that then, he’s been possessive and he kept on biting me everytime he has time because he doesn’t want that to happen again.” he added.

“D-D-Did everyone know that?!” I exclaimed and he nodded.

“Everyone did and everyone thanked him because the Queen had multiple victims.” he replied. “He is actually considered as Hero of the West,” he added. So Argo is kind huh. He’s kind but in a weird way.

“I see,” sagot ko. “You love him, do you?” I asked and his face turned red but he was smiling.

“Just as how you love Prince Kailani,” he replied and that caught me off guard. Me? Love Kailani?! We’re both men … w-well, we did something though even if we’re both men but …

“I think you’ve got the wrong idea,” sabi ko and he smiled.

“I doubt about that,”
