She groaned and walked out of the private jet area, throwing her uniform jacket over her shoulders. It was three a.m., they had arrived an hour earlier, but she couldn't go since they needed to park the aircraft and fill out all of the necessary paperwork. She was exhausted beyond words, and she was certain she'd pass out the moment her head hit the pillow. Her eyes widened as she realized she hadn't reserved a hotel room. What was she going to do? She sighed in annoyance as she continued to walk.
"Captain Judith?" When she heard Albert call her name, she turned around. "Let's go, the car is waiting for us," he said, sprinting after her. She frowned and inquired, "Car?"
"Yes, our hotel room is booked, and the car has arrived to pick us up. Let’s hurry, I’m sure you must be tired.”
She nodded and followed him to where the car was waiting. After they had settled in, the car began to cruise through Berlin's empty streets. She had only been here a few times, but she had never had the opportunity to explore the city.
"Have you ever visited here before?" He inquired, and she gave glanced at him. "A couple of times." He nodded as she responded. He looked out the window on her side and pointed to a shuttered restaurant.
"Did you ever try their Currywurst? It's incredible." He said it with zeal. She shook her head as she looked to where he was pointing. "No. I never got the opportunity to explore this city." She responded,
"That's unfortunate," he said, pausing briefly before suggesting, bashfully,
"Would you like to explore Berlin? If you'd like, I can give you a tour tomorrow."
"That is a generous offer, but I'm exhausted. I think I’m going to sleep in. And I have to return soon."
"You will be leaving? But, we are on call." He said, frowning, "You're on call. I was solely dispatched to bring your boss here. After that, I'm off duty." She stated this as she leaned back in her seat. Her encounter with Drazhan went across her thoughts, and she felt humiliated all over again. She is a woman, and he is a very wealthy man. Everyone must believe she threw herself at him on purpose. She had been bothered by the stares she had received from the other passengers on board. Then she became enraged remembering how he had his arms around her, and how could she forget about his excited member! Were all the men the same? How could he get aroused just like that! The jet was going through turbulence for goodness sake! Albert gazed at her as she groaned aloud.
"Is everything okay?" He inquired, "Yes," she curtly responded, and he nodded.
They were soon entering the foyer of a large hotel, everything was prepared, and they were on their way to their rooms after checking in.
"Mr. Agnor always makes hotel reservations for us." With a smile, he informed her, and she merely nodded. Albert and she both came to a halt in front of her room door. She unlocked the door and pushed it open.
"Good night, Judith." He said good night with a nervous smile and she raised her brows slightly when he took her first name for the first time. She turned back and smiled as she bid him good night. She entered, shut the door, and turned on the lights, her eyes slightly widened by the enormity of the room. It was enormous, more akin to an apartment than a hotel room. She had stayed in several luxurious hotels before, but this one was nothing compared to the others.
Her wary eyes were drawn to the room key in her palm, and she returned to check the room number. When she realized she wasn't in the incorrect room, she grimaced. Perhaps Mr. Agnor was wealthy enough to provide such opulent accommodations for his employees. She shook her head. Whatever the case may be, she has a roof over her head and most likely a very comfortable bed. She had freshened herself and removed her uniform in a jiffy. She opened her bag after folding them neatly on the couch, only to find a single black tee-shirt. When she couldn't find any trousers or shorts, she groaned. She removed her bra and changed into a t-shirt that barely touched her buttocks. She climbed into bed, and as soon as her head touched the pillow, she was lulled into a deep sleep.
Waking up is a shift from the realm of dreams to the reality of the day, and it is best to take your time with it. For it is only then that we may examine the meanings of our dreams, weave them into the realities of our existence, and feel ready to face the day. Captain Judith Callahan, on the other hand, was not ready to face the day as she was still quite sleepy, and sleep kept lulling her into unconsciousness. But it was the knocking on the door that woke her up. She grumbled and rolled out of bed, extending her naked legs towards the bedroom door, soon realizing she was technically half naked. She dashed to the closet, slipped into a robe, and opened the door. A woman in a hotel uniform greeted her
"I apologize for waking you up, Ma'am." She apologized and Judith shook her head telling her it was okay. She stepped back from the door and gave her space to walk in. The woman then entered with a tray of meals.
"I don't remember calling for breakfast?" Judith inquires in a raspy morning voice, and the woman looks at her perplexedly.
"Ma'am, I was told to bring the food. Have a wonderful day." She informed with a thick accent and exited, closing the door behind her. Judith was left standing, staring at the tray of food, so she lifted the top and discovered a very traditional breakfast inside. Her gaze was drawn to the clock, which read two p.m. She was perplexed as to why they provided breakfast rather than lunch, but the food is food in whatever form or shape. She sighed and decided to take a shower. The warm water wiped away her sleep and tardiness as it cascaded down her body. She stepped out of the shower, dried herself with a clean white towel from the bunch that was in her reach. She changed into another white robe that the hotel provided. It was warm and fluffy, also very much comfortable.
She made a mental note to go shopping as she spread the butter on her toasty bread. For her trip back to Hawaii, a pair of slacks and a shirt would suffice. The crunch of the bread filled the air as she bit into it. As she sipped her hot coffee, the door to her bedroom swung open as a man stormed in, clutching his phone against his ear and yelling angrily. His voice got caught in his throat, and his eyes widened in surprise when he spotted Judith sitting on the couch. She almost choked on her coffee when she realized who it was! Drazhan Agnor! His gaze moved gradually over her physique. From the fresh glow on her cheeks to her damp long hair carelessly draped over her naked shoulder. The robe had slipped over her upper arm, exposing her shoulders and the valley of her breasts.
His gaze lowered as her naked thighs crossed over each other to tease him. His gaze was drawn to her long, smooth legs. Her eyes followed his gaze, and the tip of her ear began to redden as she discovered him blatantly checking her. She hurriedly tucked her legs under the robe and drew up the collar covering her shoulders. His eyes fluttered and he focused his gaze on her face. Her cheeks and ears were now red, and he couldn't tell if it was from rage or flushing. But he knew she was red of anger when her eyes narrowed and she yelled irritably "What exactly are you doing here? Don't you even have the decency to knock before barging in!" Her remarks caused his brows to furrow
"I could say the same thing! Don't you have no manners that you sneak into someone else's room!" He leaned against the door frame hanging up the phone.
"Someone else's room? This room was assigned to me!"
"Oh, what a surprise! But I seem to have the keys to this room!" Her eyes widened in astonishment as he smirked and showed her the key in his other hand. She rose to her feet and took out the key in an instant. She turned around and showed the room's key as well. "I seem to have the same key!" His smirk faded as she said bluntly, raising an eyebrow. "It seems that they gave us the same room!" She said while folding her arms across her chest.
"It appears to be so." He replied
"So, mind getting out?" She raised her brow curtly.
"Why should I?"
"You burst in like a creep, checking out a woman in her robe, and now you're wondering why you should leave!" She exclaimed, irritated. "They gave us each the same room key. And I happen to be the one who books and pays for these rooms. As a result, I feel you should be the one to leave. Unless, of course, you want to share this room with me." Smirking, he said, and a fierce storm of annoyance washed over her. But she composed herself and replied,
"I'll be leaving tonight anyway. You can have your room all to yourself."
"Very well then," he sighed, frowning. He entered the room and dropped his suitcase on the floor. He removed his tie and suit jacket and stripped down his white shirt.
All the while she stood next to the bed her eyes carefully inspecting his every move. As the shirt slipped off his broad shoulders, her eyes unknowingly gazed over his toned muscular back. When he noticed her gaze on him, he smirked, and she averted her eyes.
"See you later, Captain." As he walked inside the bathroom, he waved his hand. She plopped down on the bed and groaned in annoyance. She could hear the water running and quickly changed into her uniform pant and the t-shirt she had been wearing the night before. She gathered her belongings and dried her hair. The bathroom doors opened as she was putting her hair up in a bun, and Drazhan strolled out wearing nothing but a towel. His hair was drenched. Water ran down his hair and cascaded down his toned muscular physique, disappearing beneath his white towel. His body resembled that of a Greek God, and anyone looking at him would wonder why he was a businessman when he should have been a model. Looking at him in nothing but a towel would make any female drool over him and pounce at him like a hound in heat, and she'd be lying if she said she didn't feel the urge to properly check him out.
But she had somehow anticipated him to walk out in nothing but a towel, and she spoke with a very professional attitude,
"Working with you has not been a pleasure, Mr. Agnor. If you ever need my services again, don't dare to contact me." He was struck speechless as she got her bag and walked out.
As he heard the door close, a smirk formed on his lovely lips. He walked around the table in front of the couch and sat on the soft couch. He scooped up the bread she had taken a bite of and looked at it with sultry eyes.
"It has been an absolute pleasure working with you Captain Callahan. And I look forward to flying with you again!"
