Autumn stood defiantly in front of me with her hands on her hips. Was she mad? Work with her! She would still be in harm's way! “I can’t allow you to hunt! Don’t you see, you’ll get killed!”
She lifted her chin and threw back her shoulders. “Fine, if you feel that way, I just won’t tell you when I do and do not hunt and keep to myself. I promise I won’t shoot you.” She turned on her heel to leave but I couldn’t let her go.
I grabbed her and spun her around. “Autumn, please, don’t hunt anymore.”
