Adrian’s roar thundered through the underground facility, a primal sound that echoed off steel walls and struck terror into the hearts of both man and beast. His transformation was complete now—half-human, half-wolf, glowing silver eyes and sharpened claws gleaming in the red emergency light. Every heartbeat around him felt amplified. Every scent—fear, blood, adrenaline—told him what he needed to know.

Two hybrids lunged at him in unison, claws swiping and jaws snapping. Adrian ducked beneath the first, grabbing it by the throat and slamming it to the floor with bone-shattering force. The second creature raked its claws across his back, but his hide—toughened by the serum—barely flinched.
