CHAPTER 6 One day I get home and I find a note "I’m at Simone's. Philly." I squinted and looked at the note again, finding it hard to believe. What for f**k's sake does that suppose to mean? Until now if one of us left the house before the other one would get there, it would be something like, "my love, I’m at Simone's, miss you. Give me a kiss. Bye," with some stupid drawing next to it. And now she's writing me that "she's at Simone's"? There was something about what she said. It's not true that I replaced my love for her with the love of film, but I definitely had a new love in my life. A love that went on to catch a more and more important role in my life. The thing was that I was ashamed, even to myself, to define this as something that I think is really going to be my profession. I
