Choking me was just a start. When I finally managed to get rid of the evil hand that was choking me, I felt a kick on my stomach.

What the f**k?

Then I see the evil hand coming back at me with full speed and it hit my chest hard.

" oww, motherfucker that hurt".

I groaned in pain before I can move the hand away, I felt someone kick my ass from behind literally and I tumbled to the floor.

His anger flared seeing the person sleeping peacefully after ruining His sleep.

It doesn't look like she has any strength to even hurt a fly but the choke was so powerful and his ass was still tingling due to her kick.

He dusts his pants and gets up to do the same as what she had done to her.

" How can she sleep after ruining my sleep? I am going to kick her on the floor and pretend to be asleep"

I smirked as the plan formed in his hand. I am stronger than her. I just need to push her slightly and she will fall on the floor like a leaf.

I get on the bed again and moves my hand towards her to push her down.

I didn't close my eyes yet because I want to see her expression when she falls but my hands stopped moving abruptly when I saw her face.

Silent tears are streaming down her face. It looks like she was in great pain. She was frowning and her tiny fists were clenched.

' Is she having a nightmare? Why is she crying '

I don't know what to do in this condition. Should I wake her up? Should I shake her?

" Shut up, owl. Let me sleep" He put a block in my mind and went to sleep again.

" Bloody snake, he left me on my own. How do I handle her?"

A whimper escaped from her lips and she said something in her hoarse voice.

She is violent in her sleep. I tried to get away but she came more closer.

She put her arms around me and hugged me tightly.

Her small body was trembling and he doesn't know that it was fear or cold.

he said when another whimper of pain escapes from her mouth.

He pulled her against him slightly and softly caress her head. His heart melted when he saw her tears and he starts to whisper sweet nothings in her ear.

" It's ok. I am here. You are safe"

Well, he doesn't know the nightmare she is having was not about her. She was watching an unfamiliar woman burn to death but She can feel her sorrow, her pain like it's her own.

Antigo softly pats her head for some time and eventually fall asleep. He might be a cold-blooded jerk but he couldn't see her cry.

He doesn't know why her tears moved him so much. Was it his guilt? Because he thinks that the woman in front of him might be innocent or he felt bad because there is a chance that she is his mate.

He doesn't know what it was but the only thing he knows that he felt a stabbing pain in his heart when he saw her cry. It was unbearable.

He felt an ache in his heart when she was whimpering in pain.

A heavy silence fell in the room as they both drifted into dreamland but they are both unaware of the pair of green eyes who were watching them.
