Jazmine (POV)
I walked with Xander to meet his pack. I was nervous. What if they could all smell me and knew I was human? Xander kept telling me it would be fine to just stay with Link and my guard. I had a 2-second introduction to my Luna guard. From what I could tell, they all seemed nice. Xander said I would get a proper introduction once everything was handled with the Elders.
Xander was acting calm and cool about being on trial for murder. I was a nervous wreck. He explained how, under their laws, the killing of alpha Rivers would be justified. From the little bit he had told me about the Elders earlier, I do not see this trial going in his favor. Apparently, the Elders are like the rulers of the wolves. They like power. From what I understand, they are not fond of Alphas and Lunas
