The Phone Call

On the other side of the country stands a big luxurious mansion with many security guards patrolling around it. They all bowed respectfully when the saw Williams car pulled over .

Williams entered the house and as usual, it was time for dinner.

"Welcome home bro". Andrew his brother not by blood and also the COO of the Kingsley Cooperation greeted him. They've been friends to family since High school.

Williams just nodded as usual.

"BRO!!" his two naughty sisters came rushing from their room to greet him as usual.

Linda and Danika are Williams younger sisters. Linda is 25 years, whilst Danika is 24 years old.

"Hey" was all Williams said after they engulfed him in a big hug.

" Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, I'm home".

Williams informed his elders of his returning.

It's just like this always. No matter how cold he is to the outside world, he's just like any other grandson, a son and a brother to his family.

They all lived together because of one their family simple rules.

"NO MOVE OUT FROM THE MANSION UNTIL MARRIAGE "

That's why the whole Kingsley family lived together including his cousin Jason and his parents, Mr and Mrs Anderson. plus Jason fiancee ( Williams ex fiancee) Ashley.

It has really been a torture for Williams whenever his cousin and Ashley display their affection in front of him.

But he's trying to get over it.

"Little Will, hurry up to wash up and come down for dinner." his grandmother told him which he nodded.

" And tell us how did your day go with you wife". Williams froze in his steps when he heard what his grandfather said.

"Whooaaahhh, well catch cousin. You even went on a date your soon to be wife. I can now breath a sigh of relief because I will have my fiancee all to myself." Jason pretentiously said.

He jut doesn't seized to taunt Williams with his past.

Everyone glared daggers at him.

" Don't look at my son like that. He didn't say anything wrong." Mrs Anderson said.

Mrs Thomas was fuming with rage but Williams just shook his head to his mother in NO.

It's has been like this always. His uncle and Auntie with their son never stop irritating him.

He had already grown immune to it.

Williams finished washing up and joined dinner.

"So tell me bro, how does our sister in law look like?

"Is she beautiful? How old is she?"

" Is she schooling or a graduate?"

"What did you do today?"

" When are you bringing her home?"

Williams siblings asked him several questions with their happy faces at the dinning table.

Their grandparents together with their parents chuckled at their childish behavior. Well except the Anderson family.

" I don't know " Williams just said curtly.

" Ooooohhhhh, come on Will. Just blow us already." Andrew said mischievously.

Williams didn't mind him. His mind was just on his phone. After dropping Lilly home and went to the office, he had expected Lilly to call or text him but he got none.

" Williams, you've been staring on your phone ever since you return home. Is everything okay son?" his father asked him.

" I'm good Dad. Everything is okay." he said.

"Or are you waiting for some important call from our sister in law?" Danika asked as naughty as she is.

Williams face betrayed him. Even everyone was surprised to know that Williams is waiting for a call from his soon to be wife.

Ashley of course, was jealous and fuming for no reason.

"WOW, the almighty Williams Kingsley is waiting for a call from a poor girl". Jason taunted.

" Hello Mr stealer, in case you've forgotten. Your shameless fiancee also comes from the slums." Linda shot back at him.

Jason was enraged now. Not to mention Ashley or the Anderson family. What Linda said felt like a slap on their face.

They wanted to say something but Williams phone rang. All eyes turned to him.

A smile suddenly plastered on his face and everyone at dinning table was surprised. Williams is actually smiling from just a phone call. Williams who never smile or let's say his smile is rare to see.

"Hello" Williams picked up.

"I'm Sooooooooooooooooo sorry". Lilly apologize from the other end.

Her dramatically apology made Williams chuckled.

Now all cutlery were put down. Did Williams just chuckled? Ashley was at the verge of breaking her glass, because someone else is making Williams happy.

" Williams is mine" she said in her heart. As if she didn't dump him after taking his money.

" Little wifey, how are are you? "

"I'm good Williams and I'm sorry I didn't call you earlier. Ellie dropped by and we reconciled with our father. And also I went to the Internet to check about you. I didn't know you are Soooooooo famous."

Lilly explain innocently as if she will be punish if she doesn't give an explanation.

Williams was thrilled. They reconciled with their father? Wow, it's a good thing. he thought to himself. But wait...

" Why are you checking my info on the Internet? Not everything on the Internet about is true." he told her.

" Oh really, Uhmm, they said you are a billiona...."

Andrew took the phone from Williams and put it on loud speaker for everyone to hear.

Williams didn't get angry because this is how he and his siblings grew up.

"Hello? Williams are you there?" Lilly asked. Poor girl didn't know all the family were listening to her.

" I'm here little wifey."

"So do you forgive me? I'm sorry I won't do it again. I promise to call you every one hour. Oh no, I promise to call you every thirty minutes ok."

Everyone was amused by Lilly's logic. No one needed to tell them the girl was pouting.

" It's okay little wifey. I might not be able to pick up your calls every thirty minutes because of my work. Also, I have forgiving you, so stop pouting ok."

"Wow, how did you know I was pouting? You see, everything on the Internet about you is true. They said you are SUPER INTELLIGENT!"

Lilly exclaimed which made everyone laughed including Jason. Except Ashley and his parents who glared at him.

" Williams who are those laughing? "

"It's my family little wifey".

"Williams?" Lilly called

"I'm her little wifey. "

" Ermm Williams, can you give me some money?" Lilly asked after debating with herself for several times. She didn't want Williams to have bad impression on her.

Everyone at the dinning table froze from Lilly's request. Williams heart was speeding up. Oh God not another gold digger in his life.

Mr and Mrs Anderson together with their son Jason has a mischievous smile on their faces. As if Williams is about to suffer again.

" How much and what do you need the money for?" He asked Lilly who panic from Williams icy question.

Old master and old madam Kingsley together with Williams parents and siblings paled. Williams was fuming as if he want to kill someone.
