Chapter 23 : "The Start"

Three days later.

On the Maslih Kingdom. The General is on his way to the meeting hall, while the King was there waiting for him. A moment later, the General then arrived at the meeting hall.

“My king *salute*” the General said as he enter and stand beside the king.

“Report it General” the king then said as he ordered General Kufrih.

"Yes my king" the general then replied.

"A report was sent to me by some of our men that where deployed to observe the boarders under our territory... On the northern part, a camp was build by the Estians and it has approximately a hundred or two of its men deployed there... on the other part, on the southern boarder there was also a camp that shelters two hundred men under the Estians. They are now moving and already build a camp that is near to us"

"At any moment, they might attack one or two villages at the same time that is near to the boarders... Landergrass was already destroyed, Greenbelt is unoccupied, the only village and town that is near to those two camps that they build is the Woodcliff Village and the Brownstone Town, A single day march towards this village and town is enough to reach them from where the Estians are camping now"

"On the other hand, two bandits where sighted near a river, one female and one male, a river that is located on the unpopulated part of the land, where sightings of the Nijj occurred. It is unpopulated because of the wild animals and Nijj that said to be near that river."

The General report this to the King while the Royal Crescent and some of the Chief in charge are present.

"Thank you general" the king said.

"Some of the Commanders are already on this said village and town, by tomorrow all the task and operations on evacuating the villagers, supplies and goods will be done already" the general said.

"We have hundred soldiers deployed on the Woodcliff and another hundred and fifty on the Brownstone, the moment the task will be done they will retreat and regroup on the bigger town, on the Redleaf Town, and there another evacuation will be done"

"The new settlements and evacuation sites near the kingdom was already been started to build a week or two and all of it will be finish, the agricultural sites and supplies also had been transferred near to the kingdom" the general explains and delivers all the information about the reports. He is pointing to a huge map on the table while he was explaining and the people that is present in the meeting hall are listening and paying their attentions to what the general had reported.

"Very well done General, the well being of our people is the most important thing now, the supplies and the agriculture is in need so that our people wont suffer from any shortage or difficulties on their livelihood, they will continue their living here, near the kingdom so we can provide a more secure environment and living for them" the king then said this.

"Yes my king, as what we had plan, we will not attack and we will just need to defend and evacuate our people... Hold and defend against any attack and keep them away from here, until we manage to find the culprit behind the happenings on the Yellowcape Town" the general said.

"At any moment we are expecting an attack, but nothing to worry, because the wing commanders together with our soldiers are stationed and ready to defend." the king said.

"Yes my king, and as you ordered, the troops are all prepared and ready for a battle, the wing commanders are leading them. They are all prepared for any attacks and battle" the general replied

"Very well done General" the king comment the leadership of the general.

"Father, about the sightings of the bandits near the river, I guess their hideout is near that river" the commander of the Royal Crescent said.

"I also have a great intuition about it daughter"

"Should we start the operation on hunting them down?"

"I guess... Yes"

"So be it, we will immediately prepare for it father" the royal crescent commander, Princess Mina said.

"Yes daughter, we need to capture them immediately as soon as possible, we don't know what they are planning now that both kingdoms are on the state of war, those criminals are unpredictable and we can't afford to let our people be in danger because of them"

"Yes father, I will guarantee you an absolute success on this mission"

"I know you could daughter, as always"

"We will be going now father to prepare"

"Okay, then meet us right after"

The Princess guaranteed the success of this mission to her father where they are going to capture the bandits. While the King and the General continue to have a conversation in the meeting hall, the Royal Crescent is now moving out and they are now going to their station chamber.

"Are you guys ready?" the princess asked them.

"We are always ready princess!" Belle replied.

"All the time commander!" Keer also replied.

"Al and I won't be able to come with you, but we will stay close and we will observe from the distance" Shika said.

"Yes, Commander" Al said.

"We will follow what we had plan, and execute the task properly" the commander princess said.

"Absolutely commander!" Zafia said.

The Royal Crescent prepares everything they need as they once again talk about the plan and how to properly execute it, each and every one of them has their own role on this mission. They are now prepared and ready to go on a hunt.

After they prepare all of their equipment, weapons and stuffs, they are now heading to the embarkation area where the king and the general is waiting for them.

A moment later the Royal Crescent arrived to the embarkation area. The King and the General are there with Chief Thazar and Irkhan the second child of King Muhnir and Queen Haifa.

"We are all good father" the princess said.

"Be careful on your journey, avoid any battles against Estians, and focus all of your attentions and energy on hunting and capturing the bandits" the king then said to his daughter.

"Yes Father, we will" the princess then replied.

"The wagon and the things that you've asked, we already add it up princess" the general then said.

"Thank you General" the princess replied.

Irkhan just smiled and salute his sister as the princess smiled back to her brother. The princess knows how much Irkhan wants to be part of the army and she salutes back. The moment that the princess is about to get into the wagon, Thazar speak;

"Be careful and be safe my lady, may the Creator guide you and protect you. If I can only come with you on this mission, I would." Thazar said this words with a solemn tone of voice that is full of care and worries as he also salutes the Commander.

The members of the Royal Crescent felt the romantic excitement feeling when Thazar said those words to the Princess.

"Thank you, *salute*" the Princess replied to Chief Thazar.

"We're going father" the Princess said as he goes inside the wagon.

"You are really a cold person Mina, no man can make you smile or make you felt something special" Shika said, as she react on how the princess replied to the Chief.

"We are on a mission, there is no space for romantic speech" the princess replied.

"Oh my beautiful princess, how strong and cold you are even the tides of love and romantic words can't make you fall into him" Belle said.

"There is a right time for that matter, for now we need to focus on what is more important. Capturing the bandits is our main goal, stay focus and don't let your guards down" the princess said this.

"Yes Commander!" the members of the Royal Crescent shouted as they agreed on what the princess said and they are now all prepared and ready for the hunt.

As the wagon leaves the area, the King, the General together with Chief Thazar and Irkhan, they stayed for a while as the king speak.

"I know how much of a cold person my daughter is, Thazar. Patience young man, patience. The right day will come for the both of you" the king said this as he comes close near to Thazar and hold his shoulder.

"My King! I don't deserved any explanations from you *bow his head*, there is nothing to be worry about My King. Ever since the day I was amazed by her talent, bravery and skill. I already dedicated my life for her. I will lay my life for her safety, she will be the future ruler of The Maslih Kingdom, and as her future partner, I will do everything for her" Thazar humbly said those words from his heart, he is a man with dedication and pride, and he will show how much he honor and respect the princess no matter what the princess will treat him.

"You are the perfect man for him, I wasn't wrong on choosing you to be her partner. I and your father is very proud of you" the king said. The General smiled happily, he is also very proud of what his son had become.

"Thank you my king, I will do my very best"

"You are always doing your best Thazar"

"That is right man, my sister is still a human, she still has a heart. Just more patience" Irkhan said.

"Thank you my king, thank you young prince" Thazar replied to the king and to the prince.

As they are standing on the embarkation area, a soldier is approaching their position.

"Pardon for the interruption my king *salutes*, the troops are all prepared and ready" the soldier interrupted the conversation of the individuals present on the embarkation area, to report the matter.

"Very well, we are heading there now soldier" the king replied.

"Let's go" the king then said this as he walks towards the training grounds where the troops are waiting for him. General Kufrih, Chief Thazar and Prince Irkhan followed the king. They are now heading to the training grounds of the Maslih Kingdom.
