Chapter 17 : "Records"

The Supreme Knight and Drazo arrived at the Astenbar, where the wounded members of the Bastions brought to.
"Are they fine?" Zern ask one of the attendant who is working on the Biostatistics Division.
"They are doing well Supreme Knight" the attendant then answered.
Zern then walked in to the room where his comrades are taking a rest. He saw that Andrew and John are already sitting on the bed. They are awake and already on their consciousness. Drazo followed the Supreme Knight inside.
"How are you guys doing?" the Supreme Knight as he approaches his comrades.
"I am doing well sir" John answered.
"I am fine, Supreme Knight" Andrew also answered.
"What's with the formality, hey! it is just me Zern" Zern then spoke to his childhood friend as he is reminding them that they are not on a mission or on a battle, so he is implying that there is no need for the formality.
"You are always a humble man Zern, thank you for putting our safety first and not the mission" Andrew said and thanks his Supreme Knight.
"You know that you are all like brothers to me, we have been together since the day we knew each others on those park, and since the day we started to train as a light class, we climbed up all together and we are all now together on every mission and battle that might come" the Supreme Knight said this as he holds and tap the shoulders of John and Andrew.
"Thank you, for being our leader, Zern" John said.
"Enough with it, I am so flattered now" Zern then said as he smile and sit next to Chad. Chad is still lying on the bed unconscious.
"Chad suffered a lot, that he is unable to gain consciousness up until now, that woman, she is very strong." John said. As the Supreme Knight look on to Chad.
"I and the Supreme Knight found Chad lying on the ground with full of his own blood, he suffered a lot of injuries" Drazo said this.
"He managed to put down John on the ground with just one punch, and uses a familiar technique the put me on my knees and fell unconscious. A technique that we can't even managed to learn. A technique only you Zern and Sir Albert I saw using" Andrew then said this as he remembers how the bandit De'Wa managed to defeat them.
"What? you mean that woman also uses the technique we called 'Ryuzhen'?" Zern then shockingly asked.
"Yes, that is the technique he used against me Zern" Andrew replied.
"How did she learned it? How could she used it? Zern is confused and asking a lot of questions in his thoughts.
"We are very surprised to see her used that technique and not to mention that she is also a Celestial like you Commander" John said to his Commander the Supreme Knight.
Zern stood up with a confusion on his face. In his mind a lot of questions is flashing.
"Even the king doesn't knew about it, that there is another Celestial on the side of the bandits" Drazo speak to them.
"We already talked to him, he knows how much upset and angry I am, but we can't put the blame on them about the lack of information's, because even our best messengers and Mistraz, could not gather those information's that we are lacking, the bandits are very careful about their identity and only few of them are in our list. We don't even know where they are hiding." Zern then stated this.
"Commander..." a familiar voice then was heard. It is the voice of Chad.
"Chad! you are already awake" "Thankfully!" John and Andrew said as they smiled.
"I am glad that you are already awake" Zern then spoke to Chad.
"Commander, I am very sorry that I didn't manage to capture the bandit who hurt and took down two of our comrades" Chad is very upset as he said this, he apologize to his commander about failing the mission.
"You don't need to worry about it Chad, It is my failure. As your commanding officer, the blame must be put in to me. I let my men suffer the consequences I maid, we should not split up that moment and rather should had stay together" Zern replied.
The entire room became quiet. As the Commander continue to speak.
"So do not blame your selves, and rather focus on getting better. Take a rest guys, and we will have our redemption once we encounter them again" Zern then cheered up his comrades as he told them to get well first.
"I'll be going now, *smiled* get well soon brothers!" Zern took a proud stance as he smiled towards his comrades who he see's as his brothers.
"Yes Commander! Thank you!" the Bastions replied and seems to be cheered up.
"I'll be staying here Commander" Drazo said.
"Alright! I'll be coming back later."
Zern walked out the room and is now heading to his chamber. As he walked by the corridor, many questions is flashing through his thoughts.
"An unknown Celestial Weapon is on the hands of a bandit, a weapon that haven't seen for many years, don't have any records of its ability and power. The origin of it is also unknown, and the Bloodline Bearers of it is also unidentified"
"All we knew that it is in the records together with the other Celestial Weapons.
"Who is she, why did she become a bandit, what kind of power does she possess?"
"Is there something that I didn't know?"
"Is there something that I need to know?"
"It really bothers me" "I guess I need to talk with father"
"Wait...? yes, since the bastions had arrived, I haven't seen father"
"I guess I'll be going to his room first and so that I can also see my mother"
As Zern walks on the corridor a voice called out his name.
"Zeeeeern!!!" this voice came form his behind. Zern then turns around.
"I know it is you, your annoying voice is distinguishable, Vinz!" Zern said this as the man who shouted his name from behind is Vinz, Zern's bestfriend.
"Hahahaha! *laughing* Hey! you are rude to me as always"
"You still aren't used to it? Hahaha!" Zern laughs.
"Wait, seems like your arrival is quite early?"
"It is a long story my friend"
"Then start telling me now"
"You know what, if you do not have any thing to do, you better come with me"
"Huh? where are we going?
"Let's go, I'll tell you everything as we walk by"
"Alright alright,"
Zern and Vinz are now walking together on the corridor of the castle, as they are going towards the room of Zern's father.
