Chapter 19 : "The Commander Princess"

The Commander Princess arrived at the training grounds of Maslih Kingdom, where the recruits and some of the soldiers in charge of the training are also present.
Everyone pays their respect to the Princess who just arrived.
"Commander! *salutes*" one of the training in charge lead the salute. The way Maslih salutes and pays respect to the higher ranking soldiers is by bowing their heads facing the lower ground, a simple way with so much honor and respect. The Commander then salutes back as a way of respect towards her subordinates.
Some of the recruits begin to speak with each other in a very low voice.
"That is the princess right? so it is true that she is a soldier too?"
"Yes, and she is the Commander of the Royal Crescent, who is strong and powerful"
"Wow a woman warrior"
"It is very awkward and disgraceful if we male recruits can't pass this training"
"Yes, knowing that the Royal Crescent are composed mostly of female soldiers"
"I can feel the pressure right at this very moment"
"What would be our training?"
"She is so cool and intimidating"
"She is very beautiful too"
"Is she married?"
"Hey stop it, see that guy? that soldier who leads us? that is her fiance"
"What? Chief Thazar? they are engage?"
"Yes the son of General Kufrih is engage to the daughter of the King"
"Woaah! amazing"
"Yes, children of the two great man of our kingdom, will be marrying each other"
"So, Chief would be a king someday right?"
"Yes if they will get married"
"Hey, stop it already"
The Commander Princess is still on the upper platform where she can see everyone on the training ground. Chief Thazar, who is one of the in charge of the training approached her.
"My Lady, Princess, I am glad to see you. How are you?" Chief Thazar greeted the princess in a very solemn voice with respect and care as he bows his head after he smiled to her. The members of the Royal Crescent who are standing behind the princess want to burst out because of the romantic excitement, but they just holding it as they all blushes.
The Princess then just looked at the Chief, and she replied.
"We are here to train the recruits Chief."
"Certainly, my sincere apologies for my improper approached my lady" Chief Thazar then bows his head as he returns in front facing the recruits.
"You are so sharp, you know that?" Shika said to her bestfriend, the princess.
"Oh my princess how could you be so rude on that handsome soldier?" Belle said.
"We are here to train the recruits, and not for those romantic words" the princess replied.
"We are in the verge of war, there are no space for romantic words and jokes" the princess said in a very serious manner.
The princess then walked down the platform and speak as she walk in front to each row where the recruits are standing still.
"You are here to train for battle! To defend our Land! To fight what we know is right! For the sake not only for this kingdom but also for the sake of your children! parents! family! For their tomorrow and for their future!"
"You are here to bring peace! a peace that can't be obtain with out this battle!" The battle that will reshape your very own existence! So there is no room for a weak heart! From now on, you are going to be a soldier! a soldier for this kingdom! a soldier for your family! a soldier that will both carry his own and his kingdom's honor, pride and dignity!"
"So if there is someone amongst you who has a weak heart, you are free to leave this ground" everyone is standing still.
"But if no one amongst you has a weak heart, then I am glad to train you with all of my heart!" the princess then draws her sword.
"Vivoste!" the commander princess shouted the word "Vivoste!" an Estheron word that means "To live and to Die with Pride and Honor!"
"Vivoste!!!" the recruits shouted after the princess, no one leaves the row and all of them has a strong will to be part of the Maslih Army.
Chief Thazar was very much amazed on the words that the princess had said. Her speech was so strong that it will make you excited and felt worthy for a battle. Chief Thazar thought to him self.
"The future Queen of this Kingdom, is standing in front of me. I will definitely lay my life for your sake Princess"
Chief Thazar is smiling while he is having those thoughts. Thazar is the son of General Kufrih, Thazar is the Chief of the Upper Army that recruits and trains new soldiers to be part of the Maslih Army. He is a handsome tall guy, with a blonde long hair, his smile can make any woman fall in to him, but not the Princess. He is a loyal soldier to his kingdom.
The Royal Crescent who are still on the platform standing, was very much amazed too.
"That was lovely!" Belle happily said.
"Wow that is super cool! what else do we expect from our Commander" Alkazer said.
"That was great" Zafia said.
"I am excited to face the Estians right now *smirked*" Keer said.
"The future ruler of our kingdom" Aida said.
"*smiled*" Shika smiled.
The Princess then walked towards Chief Thazar.
"Let's start"
"Yes Commander Princess!" Chief Thazar replied as he smiled and salute.
The training of the recruits is about to start.
On a far distance the king and the General are watching, They saw and heard everything.
"I am so proud of her general"
"What else do we expect from the future ruler of our kingdom my king"
"She is really a reliable and a trusted leader, he leads with her heart and will"
"Yes my king, every one knows how reliable she is as a Commander to her comrades and as a Princess to her people"
"Your son also is a good man. Thazar is not just a good soldier, he is also going to be a good leader some day"
"My king, thank you for trusting him"
"Who else is fitted to be my daughters partner? no one, right general? They are on the same age, they both beautiful person and they share the same interest, to protect and to serve our kingdom"
"Yes my king, and seems like they are in to each other"
"We saw how they grew up, they might not be that close, but we know that they like each other"
"I can say yes my king, because they never argue with us when we arranged them for this marriage"
"It's been two years since then, and we are still waiting for my daughters words"
"Don't rush my king, we can all wait, until the day she is ready"
The king and the general are talking about their children while they are standing on a far distance watching the training.
The king then remember the time he saw and heard the princess talking with Shika on her room.
"You are getting married?"
"Yes, to Thazar"
"The son of General Kufrih!?"
"Yes"
"Do you have any feelings toward him?"
"Right now, no"
"So why did you agree for the arrangement?"
"I don't want father to get upset on me, I want him to be happy. He wants the future of this kingdom to be great, and so do I. He sees that me and Thazar would be a great leader someday"
"So you will just let go of your freedom to choose who you want to marry?"
"Yes, for the sake of my father and for the sake of our kingdom"
"Well I wont ask you more on that, Thazar is a good person and he is handsome. He is also quite popular among woman. So I guess it wont be too hard for you to fall"
"I wont focus on that, we are still on our training. Remember we are forming a strong group Shika!"
"Yeah yeah, want to spar with me?"
"Let's go!"
The king remember this as he just smiled and looking forward on the success of the training that is happening now.
