The Tribrid's Mate

List of Characters

Hopelynn Marie Smithers- The daughter of Jane and Kent Smithers. She is the baby born in "Before the Tribrid." She is the Tribrid talked about in the title and she is the main female character. This is her story. She has long black hair with blue highlights. She has turquoise-colored eyes. She is five foot, nine and a half inches tall. She weighs about two hundred pounds even. She is very tan. She is one-third werewolf, one-third vampire, and one-third sorceress. She is literally one of a kind. She is the only one of her kind. The first of her kind. She's the world's first-ever of her kind. She is sophisticated, very intelligent, and very kind. Her casual everyday outfit is nicely dressed clothes unless she is training then she shall have training clothes (athletic wear) on her. Her most positive traits are being loving and being sweet, plus being caring. She has a big heart for everyone that has crossed her path. Plus, for those who have shown the same traits in return (I picture Alexis Bledel as Hopelynn because she loves the people of the world that are her fans and she has a very kind heart).

Jane Lynn Smithers- Was the mother of Hopelynn and Isaiah. She was the beloved wife of Kent and the Luna of the Genesis- Hurley Werewolf Pack. Before she met Kent, she was the princess of all the Werewolves. She didn't know until she was eighteen that her mother was the queen of Vampires. She thought her mother abandoned her. But the day of her eighteen birthday, she was told by her father, the king, that she was to get married. Jane didn't want to get married. So, she ran away out of the Palace, she runs off the Palace grounds into a territory where she soon runs into Kent's pack. They had heard her scream. Kent and Jane found out they were mates and the rest was history. (To know that history, please check out my book, "Before the Tribrid"! It's about Jane and Kent and their story!)

Kent Lee Andrew Smithers- Father of Hopelynn and husband of Jane Smithers. He is a full-blood werewolf. He is Jane's mate. He is the Alpha male of the Genesis-Hurley Werewolf Pack. He has emerald green-colored eyes. He has black hair, the same as his daughter, but without the blue highlights. His most positive traits are being strong, being brave, and being courageous. Kent can handle his emotions very well. He had a son for about an hour and a half making him very happy until his son passed on. Sadly, Kent's son passed away due to a heart defect that was beyond repair. Now, he has his headstrong, determined, and beautiful daughter, who was also his son's twin. He is very protective of her. So, boys watch out for daddy wolf! He was a very successful Alpha. Kent is a great protector of his family and his pack. He plans on passing the title of 'Alpha' onto his daughter unless she finds her mate soon when his daughter becomes of age (for a picture of him, check my book, "Before the Tribrid", the part labeled "List of characters (Part 1).)

Isaiah Lane Smithers- Brother/twin of Hopelynn. Son of Jane and Kent. He lived on Earth for about an hour and a half. He died because he was born with a hole in his heart. The hole in his heart was way too big to repair. It was almost like his heart was split in two. There was nothing the doctors could do. He was doomed from the beginning. He is now a spirit. He has black hair, like his father, and sky-blue eyes, like his mother. He was a fighter from the moment of conception. But, in the end, he had lost his brave battle. He lives on within Hopelynn. She just doesn't know how to access him yet. He will a brief part of the part in the beginning of the story. But, in the end, he will be a long-term spirit character (I could picture Tom Cruise as Isaiah as a full-grown spirit because a spirit can age too, right?).

James Lee Jones- The mate of Hopelynn. Usually, he is an arrogant asshole to everyone in his pack and in his family. He is an Alpha-in-training. He finds it hard not to love Hopelynn. He is very protective and possessive over Hopelynn whenever they are together or around each other. He has brunette hair and sea-blue eyes. He is six foot, ten inches tall. He weighs about two hundred, forty pounds. But he doesn't look like it though. It was all because James was that tall. He was the tallest out of his siblings. He was even taller than both of his parents. Thanks to Hopelynn, he learns how to be a better person towards his family and his pack. He also learns how to be a better mate because of his lovely, headstrong, and determined mate (Let's just say, Hopelynn doesn't take any s**t, she has a backbone and she knows how to fire back when needed). James knows about the third part of her heritage: the sorceress part and how to access it. He knows how to use it for her good and how to fight with it as well. He just needs Hopelynn's help. But she is stubborn and won't give it willingly. He is from a visiting pack, the McLaren-Hillside pack as they are called. His most positive traits are being loving and caring (I can picture Bradley Cooper as James because I think Bradley Cooper is very sexy and handsome, plus I love his line of work).

Henry Louis Mikes- Hopelynn's current boyfriend (at the beginning of the book). The one that her family has accepted as a part of their family. He comes from a very wealthy family. He gets whatever he wants, most of the time unless it comes from the girls, any girl. Especially Hopelynn because he has wanted to have s*x with her. He is an only child. He thinks that he can keep Hopelynn away from James, but that is not the case. All because of the matebond that Hopelynn and James share. In the end, Henry gets heartbroken but not before leaving a present with Hopelynn. He has brunette hair with blue eyes. He is six feet tall. He is buff. He is fit. He always works out or does some sort of exercising. He never stops being active with something. He is a good fighter and he is from the same pack as Hopelynn. He is hoping to become the next Alpha in the pack with Hopelynn by his side as his Luna. He's power-hungry. His most shown traits are being conniving and being an extreme master manipulator. He's convinced that Hopelynn is his mate. (I can picture Henry as Brad Pitt because he may have a nice face and can be nice, but if you get on his bad side, you might as well, be dead because you are going to be dead when he gets done with you unless you are James).

Percy Manic Jones- James's father and was Alpha of the McLaren-Hillside pack. He was enemies with Hopelynn's father. He was also supposed to be Jane's husband from an arranged marriage but then she met Kent. Kent and Percy fought for Jane. Kent was almost killed. But then Jane stepped in and fought Percy until he died. James' mother was sad that Percy was killed but she wasn't surprised. Percy is now a spirit. [To find out more about Percy, please read "Before the Tribrid" because he is in there too!] (For Percy, I picture Tom Hiddleston to play him. If there are any readers that are big fans of the Avengers and the Thor movies, Tom Hiddleston plays Thor's evil brother, Loki).

Richard 'd**k' Lee Mikes- The father of Henry and beta of Kent. He is a very trustworthy person, unlike his son. His son, Henry has concocted up an evil plan. An evil plan that d**k wanted nothing to with and actually told Kent after finding out about it himself. Kent was pissed off about the plan, so now the hopes and dreams of becoming 'Alpha' for Henry are no longer. Even when Henry is still power-hungry. d**k is six foot, six inches tall. He has blue-green eyes. He is a strong fighter. But he is not the strongest fighter. The strongest fighters are always the Alpha and Luna. He was supposed to marry Jenny, but her Alpha was killed before the marriage could take place. The Alpha had made an arrangement and had arranged a marriage to unite the two packs; another pack, the Swirler-Green Pack, and the McLaren-Hillside Pack. But since the Alpha of Jenny's pack had passed on before the marriage could take place, Jenny and d**k never got married. Instead, d**k found his mate on that night, his supposed wedding night. His mate, Maureen had died shortly after giving birth to Henry, their one and only son. Their only child that d**k dislikes a lot because Henry looks like his mother except that he is a male (I pictured a younger-looking Anthony Hopkins as Richard).

Jennifer 'Jenny' Louise Jones- James's mother and current Luna of the McLaren-Hillside Pack. She is best friends with Jane. She is one of Hopelynn's Mentors. Hopelynn has always wanted to be more like Jenny. Hopelynn wants to be strong-willed, determined, very strong and very brave. All of the characteristics that Jenny has. Jenny has long, beautiful brunette hair with chocolate brown-colored eyes. Jenny is very trustworthy and very wise for her age. She had her first daughter at the ripe age of sixteen. James was born when Jenny was twenty-two years of age. She has nine children. All of them born at different times through her younger years. When she got with Percy, she was originally going to marry d**k, thanks to her asshole of an Alpha. But the asshole was killed and then she found her mate. Percy, her mate had challenged her asshole Alpha and killed him in the process, automatically making the Alpha of that pack. Eventually, Jenny and Percy fell in love with one another and well, the rest is history (I pictured Julia Roberts as Jenny with her beautiful smile, straight teeth and all).

Zabrina Lynn Jones- This is James's oldest sister. She is twenty-seven years of age. She has reddish blonde hair with vivid sea foam green-colored eyes. She is only briefly spoken about in the story. She is six feet, two inches tall. She is currently engaged to be married. She is engaged to an Alpha from another pack, the Shamrock Pack. She only comes home once in a while. She meets Hopelynn when Hopelynn tells the family that she's pregnant. Zab has news to share with the family as well; the news being that her wedding is being moved up to two weeks away from that time (after seeing the family and meeting Hopelynn) because she is pregnant as well. She invites her family on short notice (I picture Angelina Jolie as Zab because I feel the last sentence would be something Angelina Jolie would do.). Zab's style is like Laura Croft's style in Tomb Raider, except when its a special occasion.

Samantha 'Sammy' Leah Jones- This woman is the second oldest sister of James. She is twenty-six years old. She has dark, really dark brown almost black hair with really dark brown eyes. She is briefly mentioned in the book as well. She ran away from her father's pack. She is now a Rogue. She ran away because she kept breaking her father's rules and making her father get more strict and pissed off each time. All because she was a hellion (I picture Selena Gomez as Sammi because when Selena Gomez was younger, I felt she was always in the news/ website articles doing something bad. She has always given me the 'bad girlebel without a cause' vibe). To me, Sammi looks like a goody-two-shoes, but really she is the devil within a disguise. She is causing trouble always; before she was a Rogue and now it has gotten worse as a Rogue.

Liam Anthony Jones- He is the oldest brother of James. He is briefly mentioned. He is twenty-five years of age. He did not want to become Alpha and so he let James be next in line to become Alpha after having James fight him and all the rest of his brothers. So, he rightfully earned fair and square. James won every match against a brother including the last match which was against Liam. He has really dark brown almost black hair with blue eyes. His hair is short and messy all the time. He looks like he just walked out of bed the majority of the time (I picture a younger Johnny Depp, like back before he was Edward Scissorhands). He gives me the stereotypical 'motorcycle biker dude/ belongs in a ruthless gang' vibe. His whole wardrobe consists of black clothing and many leather jackets and vests. Liam lives with his mate, Sally Mae. Sally Mae is very pregnant with their first pup, so he has not had much time for family.

Zachariah 'Zach' Jay Jones- The second oldest brother of James. He is also a Rogue. He was briefly mentioned. He is twenty-three years old. Last time, his parents had heard from him, Zach had found his mate in Hopelynn's father's pack, which meant he had earned Kent's forgiveness and trust and he was no longer a Rogue. They are now happily married and expecting their second pup any day now. Zach and his mate, Marissa live within Hopelynn's father's pack. Zach has short blonde hair and sea-blue eyes (I picture a younger Leonardo DiCaprio, like from the days before the movie, Titanic, as Zach).

Jordan Rae Jones-The first younger sister that James has. She is the sibling below James. She is briefly mentioned like she never existed because James doesn't like her very much. In his words, "I f*****g hate Jordan!" She has blond medium length hair with brown eyes. She and her mate are also Rogues. She is five feet tall. She is the shortest Jones so far as an almost adult. She is seventeen almost eighteen. She weighs about one hundred twenty pounds (I picture Lili Reinhart as Jordan. Lili also plays Betty Cooper on Riverdale on the CW channel).

Jamie Marie Jones- She is the youngest sister of James and the youngest sibling of the Joneses/Percy and Jenny. She still lives at home with Jenny. She is thirteen years old and totally acts like it. She acts all stuck up and like she knows everything. She gets on everyone's nerves. She is training to become the first female warrior beta for the McLaren Pack. James has promised her the role of beta when he becomes Alpha. The Genesis-Hurley pack is the pack, her mate is from, though. So, she will not become Beta unless she fights for the title. She is going to transfer from the pack she was born into to Hopelynn's father's pack (I can picture a young Lindsay Lohan before all the drugs and rehab as Jamie).

William 'Bill' Blake Jones- James's younger brother who died in utero. He is now a spirit like Isaiah (I picture Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones on Riverdale on the CW channel, as William). Bill has black hair and deep, chocolatey eyes. He is approximately six-foot, seven inches tall as a fully grown spirit. He weighs about two hundred pounds even. If Bill were alive, he would be about sixteen years old.

Gareth Micheal Jones- James's youngest brother and the youngest boy/ kid that Percy and Jenny have. He would be twelve years old if he were alive. But he is a spirit because he ended up dying before he had turned one. He had SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). He is now a fully-grown spirit. He can communicate with Hopelynn through her sorceress side as she has begun to access her magical powers. But not before then. He has wavy dark brown almost black hair. He also has dark brown, mysterious eyes. He is five foot, eleven inches tall. He weighs about one hundred forty pounds. He lives in the Spirit world. He is not the only spirit that Hopelynn can speak too (I picture Jordan Conner who plays Sweetpea on Riverdale on the CW channel as Gareth).

Jennifer 'JJ' Jean Smithers- Hopelynn's younger sister and only sister, , who died in utero alongside her twin. Now, she is an Angel. Not only is she an Angel, but she is an Angel who breaks rules and becomes a Fallen Angel. She has chocolate brown eyes and caramel-colored hair. She is named after Jane's best friend, Jenny. She is briefly mentioned in the book (). Nina is strong, brave, and very courageous, plus she doesn't put up with s**t and she doesn't take any s**t from no one. She hands it out when needed though; that's why I love her.

Joseph 'Joe' Gerald Smithers- Hopelynn's youngest sibling and younger brother. He died in utero with his twin, JJ. He is also not an Angel. But, he is not a Fallen Angel either. Not yet anyway! Joe and JJ are partners in crime. When not causing chaos, he tends to keep the peace. He is not mentioned yet. But most definitely will be mentioned later in the book (I picture Dylan Sprouse as Joe). He (Joe) is six feet tall even. He weighs about one hundred ninety pounds. He has blonde hair and green eyes. He has long hair. Well, longer than the average male. His hair goes to his shoulders.
