13 The Arrogance of Youth I woke to a dog sprawled on one side of my bed, and a roommate peering at me from the other. One of those was terrifying, and it wasn’t Boone. I shoved Wembley’s bearded face. “Go away.” “You need to get up.” “So knock on the door like a normal person.” “I tried that.” Wembley crossed his arms and refused to remove himself from my room. “You said you were awake.
