The new world

She enters the portal and steps into the other world only to find herself standing on a helipad type thing. This helipad like structure was actually landing port used in travelling from one place to other via the device. Every kingdom had multiple ports for travelling places.
She finds herself surrounded by human like peasants wearing old brown rugged clothes. They were here to greet and welcome their princess. Initially they were happy to see her but then looking at her clothes they seemed shocked.
Oh heck what am I wearing? I should have known what to wear. Some dress sort of thing, not jeans and shirt.
“All hail the princess” someone from the crowd said and everybody started repeating.
“We too have humans but we call them humanoids!”
Rose got distracted from her thoughts. She turns around to see Cedric, and behind her was a huge castle.
Oh damn! Is this for real…She couldn’t take her eyes off the castle. Long stood the tall castle in the darkest land. The enormous black castle stood strong even after many attacks. Her heart started pounding very fast. Am I really a princess of this place? The clouds had gathered. It was hazy and cold here.
The beautiful green fireworks in the dark grey sky were loud enough to shake the land. It was morning and this was the darkest kingdom of their planet which was rejoicing return of their princess.
She was surrounded by guards and was brought to the courtroom where the King was sitting on his throne. He stood up and came to welcome her smiling. He was a 6’8 feet tall bearded super human with evil-like green eyes. He was wearing royal black clothes with black fur cape and gold crown .
“Daughter! You are finally here! Let me introduce myself, I am King Arandor, rural of this kingdom! Welcome home dear, the most awaited person.” He hugged her.
“Your mother would have been so happy to finally have you back… but unfortunately she couldn’t live to see this day.”
“Nice to meet you dad… I mean father!” Rose thought father word was appropriate.
“Please join us in the feast. You are the star of my kingdom.”
The food was delicious and spicy. There were unusual dishes and weird desserts.
There were lords, court men and servants. The courtroom was decorated and everyone was in festive mood. Everyone greeted her personally were happy to have their princess back. Rose was little scared of the atmosphere of the dark castle. She checked her cell phone while eating to see it had no network.
Damn how can I be so dumb? How can my cell phone work here?
Everything seemed normal. The castle was huge. But something was not right.
Why is everything so dark?
There was a celebration in the castle in the honor of the returned princess. There was a feast along with continuous fireworks outside.
“Should I tell him I can’t do magic?”
“Not now Rose. This is not the right time” said Cedric.
She wasn’t letting him go even a bit away from her.
Later, she was given her very own six super strong extra muscular humanoid body guards.
“Why six? They are scary as hell” Rose whispered to Cedric.
“You are our most beloved thing, Rose! A princess needs help especially when she can’t do magic. Anyway they will be with you wherever you go in the castle and wait for you outside your room.”
“I am totally loving this treatment!”
“Good! Princesses generally hate all this!”
“Are you kidding me? This is the life we girls keep dreaming about since we are kids!”
She was taken to her room by Cedric, accompanied by the King’s advisor (who was a super human) where all the bodyguards waited outside. Her room was as large as her Earth house.
“Waaaoooooo!!!! This room is so big!”
“These are your maids Princess. They will get you ready every day and help you with whatever you need.” Said the advisor.
“Wow! I am totally getting crazy now!”
She was just wondering about the wardrobe and the clothes inside it which were for her when Cedric said, “Shall we leave now, sister?”
“Leave? No way I gotta click everything!!!!”
“Hope you know you can’t tell humans about this, so no use of clicking.”
“But at least I can have photos for myself.”
“Correct! If you are not planning to come back, you do need something to look at and wail else all this is yours.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yes!”
“But I don’t wanna go so soon!! It’s only like....2 hours.”
“You can stay here, you don’t need to leave. But as a matter of fact, we run thrice as fast as your Earth.”
“Oh damn! Let’s leave.”
“I assume you have made your decision of not staying.”
“No I need my belongings. I can’t live without them. I am totally coming back.”
When she returned home, her cousin asked about her whereabouts to which she said she had gone for a movie and that’s why she got late. Her cousin thought she is giving reasons to skip household work. How long can you run away from work darling?” her cousin asked.
You have no idea what I am up to baby.
She secretly packed all her stuff, met Kiara before leaving and left at night for Knightland with Cedric leaving a note behind saying, “I am never coming back.”
