The instructor then went with a very low tone and said this, now, before I literally die of boredom from you weaklings fighting each other, let me instead talk about and see the two top students among you in action. He then called up the speed hero, Light-speed and then, he then called up Mia Hanagaki as his opponent, I never knew Mia even had a superpower and I sure as hell had no idea that it was earth control, she could as the instructor said, control and manipulate any soil or rock. As they approached the podium, the instructor bellowed into the microphone again, now, who would win between the Hanagaki princess and the genius hero who happens to be the only student who had an A in this year’s examination, well, I guess we’ll never know till the fight begins. The moment he told them to begin the fight, Mia had her back to the floor and Justin was just looking at her, he had put her down in seconds and all we saw was a flash of light. The instructor let out a mild laughter and said, “I said we would never know, but I’m sure we all knew this would be no fight, I just expected her to at least try but oh well, as we all know, if there’s one thing you can expect from an Hanagaki, it can only be disappointment and weakness, can’t say I am disappointed though, I never expected much”. He then shouted this out, “And last but most definitely not the least and the student who came first not just in this year’s exams but off all time, the super hero and super genius, prodigy and protector of the world, give it up for the black kniiiiiiggghhhttt”. There was dead silence as I got up and begun walking to the podium but the instructor was having none of it, he commanded everyone to give me a round of applause which they reluctantly did, I don’t know why but something tells me that this instructor was a fan. He then called up my opponent and guess what, his super power was compulsion and no one, I repeat, no one knows what activates the compulsion, he got up to the podium and told me, you might think you can destroy me with your immense power but that’s not real power, I shall enlighten you on what power is, you shall see real power from me. I made sure I made no eye contact and said nothing, after all, I had no idea how his compulsion works and then, the fight began, before he could even move, I simply clapped my hands together with some super strength, not too hard, just enough, enough to send him off the podium and crashing on the floor, far away from the podium, I then went over to him, bowed down as he groaned in pain and simply told him, not very confident are you now? He simply turned his head and oh hell, his eyes were pure red, he then told me, beat yourself to a pulp, I simply just kicked him in the stomach with no strength and asked him who told him he could order me around, that’s when I realized it, his powers were activated by eye contact but sadly for him, it seems like my powers made me safe from compulsion. I had even forgotten about the match when the instructor bellowed again, he shouted, “and once again, the golden boy with a golden showing, he is even strong enough to avoid compulsion, what hero and let’s just say, apart from the two Hanagaki disappointments, which we are already used to, the rest of you did well”. I then helped up Kelvin, Kelvin Myers, the man with compulsion powers, I’m calling him a man because he sure as hell ain’t anything less than eighteen, he then bowed and apologized for his arrogance, an apology I accepted immediately. The instructor then told us he was actually our teacher, and that this whole exercise was just him having fun, he then told us that his name was Luka Rakitic, the water element hero, Waves. Everyone clapped but I am sure as hell that no one has heard of him, I would look him up later and see that he used to help the fire force but at that point, like everyone else, I had no idea who he was. He however told us we would be having our first class today and it was going to start in ten minutes but we had better been in class before then, he also mentioned that based on today’s results, Justin was the class rep and I would be his lawful assistant, he then bellowed at us to get to class immediately, we all left into the class and sat down properly, I sat in the middle of the class and Annabelle stayed behind me while Justin stayed in front of me, they were nine normal seats and one seat right in front of the class, right next to the teacher’s desk, sadly, everyone had taken a seat when Hitoshi came in, he refused to sit in front and Justin was having none of it, he told Hitoshi everyone had gotten here before him, so, he had no reason to tell anyone to get up for him, rather than accept what Justin had just said, Hitoshi got hella mad, he walked over to Annabelle and told her to get up immediately, ignoring the fact I was right in front of him, Annabelle asked him what would happen if she didn’t, a question he replied with another question, he asked her if she really didn’t want anyone getting hurt. I got up and asked him to move, he then asked me, “or what murderer, gonna kill me after orphaning me”? Justin walked up to him and told him, move and we would really have no problems, he then pushed Annabelle to the floor and grabbed Justin by his collar, then asked him what made think he could boss an Hanagaki around. I grabbed Annabelle before she could hit the floor and got her up, Justin ignored Hitoshi and asked her if she was alright, that didn’t sit well with Hitoshi, he gasped in anger and tried to punch Justin, the next thing everyone saw was Hitoshi pinned to the ground, both hands behind him and Justin’s right foot holding them in place. I wondered how long it would have taken me to pin him to the ground, dragged his two hands behind him, then, get up and put my right leg on his hands, probably two seconds or more but Justin did it in like the blink of an eye. Justin then told Hitoshi he would do three things, first off, he wanted Hitoshi to know he actually touched him only because he allowed it and next time Hitoshi violently touched him, he would do horrible things to him, the second thing was to apologize to Annabelle, something Hitoshi reluctantly did and the last thing was to simply sit in the front and after he agreed to do so, Justin left him alone. He walked to the front and sat down with a frown, soon enough, Mr Rakitic came in and he was actually shocked to see us quiet, he commended us for that, he then commended Hitoshi for being wise enough to sit at the front of the class, the seat made just for those who like him, were really dull, he then told Hitoshi he was proud of him for the maturity he displayed in sitting at the front, at least, he wasn’t dull in everything. Hitoshi was visibly red with anger, I am pretty sure that he would kill Justin if he could. Mr Rakitic then informed us that we would be having Biology today and that the course code was Bio one zero one, he then told us today’s subjects would be organisms, he asked Justin what an organism was and he correctly said an organism was an individual plant, animal, fungi or single celled life forms. Mr Rakitic then said that we had multicellular and unicellular organisms, he gave types of multicellular like plants and then he talked about unicellular, mentioning that they mostly contained microorganisms, he stopped and shook his head as he saw Hitoshi writing, he then continued by telling Hitoshi to stand, then, he asked Hitoshi if the teachers back in high school failed to teach him about organisms because he was the only one writing or did he have problems assimilating what they taught him, Hitoshi told him he knew about organisms and then, Mr Rakitic told him, “Okay then, Mr Hanagaki, give me an example of a microorganism”. Hitoshi laughed and simply started listing small animals, he started with rats, then ants, and then, he mentioned something he called a green insect that eats plants, he called it lettuce and everyone burst into laughter, well, not everyone, Mr Rakitic didn’t, I didn’t and neither did Justin or Annabelle. Mr Rakitic just looked at Hitoshi visibly disappointed then, he asked him this question, “Why do you even bother, living”? He then told Hitoshi he was sure fast thoughts had always followed him, he was just faster, because Hitoshi was clearly only as sharp as a marble, he told Hitoshi he must have only two brain cells and both of them were clearly fighting for third place. He then told Hitoshi that next time he wants to give examples of microorganisms, he should think of an organism, that like his brain, was microscopic. He then told Hitoshi to also ensure that he didn’t name vegetables like lettuce while classifying it as an insect. Hitoshi looked at Mr Rakitic weirdly and argued that lettuce was an insect and not a vegetable, Mr Rakitic then told him he would have loved to agree with Hitoshi but then, they would both be wrong. He then told Hitoshi that he wasn’t the dumbest person on earth but he had better hoped and pray they don’t die, the others laughed again and with that said, Mr Rakitic dismissed the CLASS………………………..
