Meeting with the Fawn pack had been an eye opening experience but we didn’t have time to dwell on it. Even though it was another long drive to reach the Davies pack and we didn’t have time to analyse what we had learnt. We had to focus on what was ahead of us.
The Davies pack had already betrayed us once. Although I understood their reasons and they no longer had any reason to betray us, it didn’t make me any less concerned about going there.
