The tension from Dante’s unexpected visit lingered in the air like a toxic fog. Luca, pacing back and forth in the warehouse’s dimly lit office, wore a look of grim determination. Elena sat on a tattered chair in the corner, her arms wrapped around herself as she replayed Dante’s chilling words in her mind. Luca broke the silence first. “I need to call a meeting with my men. If Dante’s right, and there’s a rat feeding Dominic information, we’re already in more trouble than we realized.” Elena nodded but remained silent. Her mind wandered to the idea that Dante could be manipulating them, driving a wedge between her and Luca. Yet, a gnawing thought planted itself in her heart: could Luca’s doubts about her loyalty resurface? “Stay here,” Luca commanded, already striding toward the door.
