Holy War
JULY 1191 A.D.
The Crusader camps are in between the walls of Acre and the forces of Saladin. The sky is red with a blazing orange sun bearing down on them.
Richard meets with Guy of Lusignan, King Philip of France, and Duke Leopold of Austria at Acre. Leopold has a long yellow beard with a moustache. He wears a white tunic with the red cross over his own chain mail. Philip wears his royal blue cape. King Richard wears his chain mail under his red gambeson with three lions. Robin is close to the king's circle.
“How close are the walls to being brought down?” King Richard asks.
“Now that you are here, not long. We have been between this wall and Saladin's forces for too long,” King Philip says.
His dark brown hair nearly reaches his shoulder, sweat is dripping off his square
