My day which started with a sweet experience was turning into something eveni could not predict. My chest thudded louder each step I took towards the strategy room. The young man who showed up at my door step needed medical attention but I couldn't let him yet as he needs to brief me about what happened in the border.
After what felt like a long walk, we were finally there — a dark room without windows, torches are the only source of light as only the secrets of the pack can be discussed there and only the top officials in the pack are aware of the room. I brought him there so as not to cause panic within the pack.
I offered him a seat as I slowly sat down, eyes focused on him. Then I spoke,
“What happened?” My voice came out Soft, my hand was placed on the wooden table and
