I opened my eyes to find bright white walls and a beeping monitor attached to me. I groaned turning to my side from my back. The calendar on the wall told me it was a week later. Looking around the room I noticed I was not alone. Jace was in a bed positioned next to mine and we were in a private room. Just as I began to step out of the bed a nurse walked in.
