Matt Matt had moved from annoyance from being possibly snubbed by James again to a sense of unease after learning James hadn’t shown up to school at all. Something else was also gnawing at him, but he passed it off to the looming thoughts he’d been having regarding his brother all day long. He was worried about Brian, but the sense of impending disaster was more than that. He rarely got like this, but when he did he knew not to question it.
