Chapter 36 A trip to San Francisco

The clouds seem like they are so unsupportive with the decision she made. It seem too dark and unfriendly with its gloomy look. Jovy shivered, having second thoughts on the crazy decision she was making. Knowing fully well that when she does return, there would be no home for her to return to.
"Is this really worth it?" Jovy asked herself as she rubbed at her chest.
Logan had asked for her to be at the Old Joe’s diner door way by nine am but she knew better than to expose herself willingly in front of the diner at such time. She had sneaked out of the house as early as 6:30 to avoid being noticed with the extra weight that her bag carried.
Jovy had stayed two blocks away from the diner, hoping Logan would call her for real this time.
