Chapter 10 – Last VisitThe days felt as if they crawled by. She had removed his clothes once again. The cuts were deeper than the run in with the leech. They were made by knives and deep enough that it would take time to heal. Then there were the bruises. Their shades of black and purple worried her. How much t*****e did he go through? She wrapped up the cuts that bled with torn pieces of fabric. It was the least she could do to heal him without her bag. She had to carry him into his bedroom and tuck him into bed. He had remained unconscious the entire time. Even after a day or more, it was rare when he would awake.
