We were lying in bed just talking and cuddling when the alarms started blaring. I sit straight up in bed while Jack jumps up. “We’re under attack.” I climb out of bed and pull on my gym shorts that I always use to sleep in. “Where the hell is Ruby?” I say as Jack stands still looking around. The lost look on his face doesn’t go unnoticed by me as I walk up to him. “It will be okay; nothing will happen to her.” I say as he finally snaps out of his stupor. “We have to find her; they are after her.” He states as we both go running out of the bedroom. I follow him as we don’t even use the stairs but go to the roof.
