Unwavering Trust

283 Words
“Where in the world is this?” he muttered and finds himself beside the garbage can lying on his own vomit. “What in the world did I do? Ew! This is really disgusting!” he covers his nose the moment he regains consciousness and runs back towards his house where he is kicked out for being so smelly.               “Great! Now what the hell should I do?” he mutters to himself as flies fly around him and people passing by covering their nose and distancing away from him. “Yeah. I know I stink you idiots.” He sat on the side of the road and think of something that he can do and remembers that there is a lake just outside the town. “Yes, I can clean myself there.” He thinks to himself as he runs out of the town and the guards could not even bring themselves to stop him from getting out of the town because of his smell.               “Gosh that guy smells.”               “Just how much booze did that guy drink to stink like that? I can’t even come to imagine.” The two shake their heads in agreement. “I know. I don’t think I will get that wasted just to find myself lying on my own vomit.” One of the guards mutter in disappointment.               “WOHOO! HAHAHAHAH! HAHAHAH! HAHAHAH! HAHAHAH!” he jumps straight to the lake without a minute of hesitation and a huge smile on his face. “Hey, are you not going to stop that guy?”               “What? Why?”               SLAP!               “We are still cleaning the lake of leeches you know. That’s why.”
