The official notice arrived at 7 AM.

**FINAL HEARING: 8 WEEKS FROM DATE**
**CUSTODY MEDIATION REQUIRED WITHIN 14 DAYS**
Eight weeks. Then it would be over.
Kieran called within minutes. "I got the notice."
"Me too."
"The custody mediation—I'm not fighting you for full custody. I just want fair time with Brielle."
"Fair would have been nice five years ago."
Silence. Then: "You're right. I'll see you at mediation."
He hung up.
