Krystal’s heart shattered in her chest as she watched tears stream down Zale’s cheeks.
“Oh, Zale,” She whispered, pulling into a hug. He simply let her embrace him, burying his face in the crook of her neck.
“What you feel is completely normal. Do not blame yourself. I would have felt the same way if I was in your shoes.” She comforted him, rubbing circles all over his back.
