I was so angry and confused that I almost strangled the thin curve of my glass. He practically told me entire family that I was dating him just because… was he that f*****g petty or did he think it was just a good joke?
“Not funny.” I said through gritted teeth. My family took my relationships too seriously which was why I never told them I had a boyfriend until it was actually that serious, which meant they thought I had not gotten a boyfriend in years.
Leo stared at me with those dark eyes that seemed to suggest something else, “Apologies, it was just a joke.”
His voice sounded sincere enough, but something told that this was more calculated than a simple joke. My eyes narrowed as I looked at Leo, but he just shot me an innocent look.
