Save Me!! ....but wasted!

"A bright sunny day perfect for having ice cream sir", said the junior investigator."You know that we still don't have any solid lead on the killer Leiro", said the chief investigator." I know sir, I think having ice cream will cool our minds to think better", said Leiro with a grin on his face."Ok, bring the Malay flavoured one for me".

As Leiro went outside to buy the ice cream the chief investigator Rolith was checking all the details again and again in hope of getting some clue.Rolith started muttering to himself, "The killer left his handwriting and the pen he used to write, judging by the price of the pen the killer must be rolling in money or trying to throw dust in our eyes".

After 5 minutes Leiro came back with the ice cream just to find Rolith obsessed with finding clues." Here's your ice cream sir"." Sush!", I think I found a clue, said Rolith sitting on his chair." What clue did you find?, I think you should eat the ice cream first", said Leiro as he was licking the chocolate flavoured ice cream."Ok,I guess I'll help myself with the ice cream first".

The whole room was filled with beams of light.After finishing the ice cream Rolith took the pen in his hands and took the piece of paper in his hands."What is the clue that you mentioned sir?, asked Leiro reluctantly."The thing is the piece of paper we found it's called Ganpi"."Is there something wrong with it?"."No, the pen we found at the murder scene the price of it is considered to be 2 million dollars according to the forensic department"."Does that mean the killer robbed a bank?", asked Leiro."No, the paper we found named ganpi is made from the bark of a tree that only grows wild, and the supply of new raw material is vanishing, as are craftspeople willing to soak up to their elbows in ice-cold water in winter to make it"."What are you pointing then sir?".

After checking all the materials we found my deduction intuition is telling me that the killer is a rich guy."What if the killer is trying to fool us by making us think that he's rich?".I'm guessing it for now let's see what the next move of the killer will be.

At 7.00 o'clock a woman called the police station saying she was told by someone on the phone that she will be killed today and cried for protection.Rolith and Leiro heard about threatening call and went to check on the women's condition.The security of the building was pretty tight which makes it impossible for the killer to enter without being seen.The door of the women was being guarded by 5 police officers.Rolith and Leiro we're permitted to enter her room after verifying their ID.

"Miss, are you alright?", asked Leiro looking at her eye to eye." Yes,I'm good but feeling a bit nervous thinking that I might be killed today"."You don't have to think about that",said Rolith with an unwavering voice."Thanks for the assurance I appreciate it", said the women looking down.Rolith and Leiro left her apartment after that and the day passed without anything going wrong.

The next day was the time the killer warned that she would be murdered.Rolith and Leiro checked on her again to see her mental health.

It was almost time for sunset and a scream was heard from the women's apartment.The police went inside and found her dead laying on the sofa.The sofa and the women's face had scratch marks on it as if a wild animal attacked the woman.Rolith and Leiro felt disheartened that they couldn't save the women.

The most intriguing part is that no one saw the killer coming.Many police officers were gossiping about the killer coming out of thin air."I don't understand how did the killer entered the lady's apartment without being seen?", asked Leiro being deep in thought.Rolith stayed silent and went downstairs.Leiro followed him.

After getting outside the building Rolith looked up at the side of the women's apartment and there were identical scratch marks on the building wall."Are you thinking what I'm thinking sir?",asked Leiro reluctantly."Yes, I think our suspect might not be human",said Rolith thinking deeply."The question is how did he enter and leave after killing his target"."Lets go upstairs", saying this Rolith rushed to the stairs.

After climbing up all the stairs they reached the rooftop and Rolith understood that his intution was correct.There was a helipad on the rooftop."Does that mean the killer is a rich guy?", asked Leiro."Yup, it seems like it", said Rolith as he took out a lighter from his pocket to smoke a cigarette."That means we have two clue", said Leiro with excitement."Don't get excited cause at the end of the day we couldn't save the women".

"I'm sorry sir", said Leiro looking down.Rolith was looking here and there to find some clue while smoking.He found a stopwatch attached to the helipad." Don't say anything about this stopwatch to anyone, do you understand?, asked Rolith placing his left hand on Leiro's shoulder."Ok sir", said Leiro with determination.

The next day Rolith was sure of one clue but the claw marks were making him worried the most.Rolith sat beside a window and was looking outside the window while taking sips of coffee."Sir, the report came in the forensic department is saying that the claw marks which was found on the sofa are similar to the claw marks of a wolf", said Leiro being out of breath because of running.

"I see, my second intuition is also correct just as I thought"." What is the second deduction sir?", asked Leiro looking closely at Rolith being impressed."The killer may not be human",said Rolith with a deep voice."Does that mean the killer is new gens?"."Yes, the killer might be one of the new gens".

"Is the killer a werewolf?", asked Leiro with a suspicious filled voice." Yes, the killer is probably a werewolf or how will we define the claw marks matching with the wolf?"."Should we tell others?"."No, not now I'm not fully sure so put in on hold for now".
