"I need to pee, Darcian!"
"You need to do what?", he asked.
"I need to pee!"
"Oh F***!", he licked his lower lips while growling with annoyance.
But what can I do? That is a basic need!!!!
"I never regretted abducting someone, as much as I do now.", he vented.
"That's the basic need of humans. I don't have any knowledge about vampires but they need to be released, but I need to—right instance.
Now, I feel like a fool to be using 'human' in every sentence I speak. But as long as he doesn't doubt it, it's not my problem.
"Don't worry, I will not run away. I don't wish on death at this tender age."
He lazily stood up from his seat and came close to me.
Sat behind me and unbound the ropes tied in my hand. I didn't dare to take my phone out. At least, I am intelligent.
He stood up and signalled me to follow him. I did as he asked.
He opened the door and I was greeted by nothing but darkness, pure darkness. But thankfully, I got the power of night vision. But still, I preferred to pretend.
"How am I supposed to walk in the darkness?", I complained.
"Hold my hand.", he said as he reached out for my hand. The moment I touched his hand, coldness enveloped my hand. His hands were cold as a freezer, whereas mine were warm.
He started to walk and I followed behind him. Through my night vision, I could see his hair tied and resembling a mango.
"Where is that little vampire?", I asked, as the distance to the toilet seemed weirdly long.
"I sent him away, he is quite short-tempered, and I guess he can't control himself around you."
"You mean for my blood?"
"No, I meant the tendency to smash your head on the ground.", he said, and I was genuinely confused whether he was insulting me or telling the truth.
"Does my blood smell bad?", I couldn't help asking.
"Kind of.", he simply answered.
And finally, I guess, we reached the toilet. But I was wrong. The door opened and I was led to the outward,
I saw the beautiful stars twinkling in the beautiful sky, seeking attention. The night was basking in darkness, as there was still time for the moon to show its glory.
We walked further until I realised that.....
He was leading me into the forest!!

"Where the hell are you taking?", I asked out of disbelief.
No, don't make your own assumption and think that I was afraid. Because I am not. If this darn vampire crosses his line, I don't mind showing him my true side and shattering him into pieces.
"Currently, this place doesn't have any toilet facilities, you will need to do your deed in the forest."
"Did you take us back to the 19th century?
"Which place doesn't have a toilet in the 21st century?"
Without saying anything, he let go of my hand.
He pointed out the nearest place and said," You can do your deed there, I turning back."
He turned his back to me and waited.
"I am not doing it.",
But God Heaven, I really need to release the water. My abdomen too started hurting.
"Do it here, or if you don't mind wetting your pants, I won't mind either."
I gasped in frustration. But do I have a choice?
"Can you go far away?", I asked.
"Sure."
He went away, not far, but not too close either. I checked him before opening my pants and sitting and finally releasing the goddamn waste material. The liquid is withdrawing from my body with a surprising force. I wonder if Darcian might be......
Finally DONE!!
We are heading back to the room. I might sound foolish, but I feel safe with Darcian. To be precise, comfortable.
After returning, he didn't bother to tie my hands. But legs were.
The room went through stillness. Only the crickets and the bugs' conversation could be heard.
Having my hands free, I took out my phone. I scanned Darcian before switching on my phone. He didn't seem to mind my action.
But, here comes the problem: there's no signal. Still, I surfed through apps and saw 7 missed calls and '6' on the w******p icon, which might have been sent before I came to this place.
I opened the app and was greeted with my mother's rant.

Why are you avoiding my phone calls?
Are you sleeping?
At least reply, if you are busy.
You are making me anxious.
Anyways, there's something important that I would like to inform you about.
This upcoming full moon, be careful. The moon is going to radiate powerful lunar energy, because of which Luci will overpower you. I advise you to stay away from humans. I am so sorry darling, but I don't think I will be able to make it to you. Me and your father will need to help the pups.

The message showed the time as 9:09. So it means it hasn't been too long since we reached here.
But I wonder, what did my mom mean when she told me to be careful? And if I needed to be careful, the situation would be totally f****d up. But I still have hope that Mom and Dad will find my location on this phone, noticing my absence on the phone.
Till now, Darcian hasn't asked for my phone yet. Unluckily, I have no games on my device. But a two-player chess game.
I have got two options.
1. Play with the computer.
2. Play with this vampire.
I choose the latter.
"Hey, Darcian, wanna play chess?", I raised my voice to grab his attention.
I feel bad for him. I wonder how the hell he is handling me. But I don't care, from my mini-study, I can confirm that he won't harm me. Neither of us. Probably they need our blood and save us from getting onto any damsel in distress.
But for whom? That's the main question for which I don't have an answer.
I looked at him as he remained quiet after my request. But soon after, he approached me and sat opposite me.
The dim light in the room didn't highlight his features, but I could see the dark circles beneath his eyes. His pointed nose shined in the reflection of the light, probably, he got a lot of grease on his nose. But, why the hell am I studying his face?
With this realization, I placed my phone between us. I gave him white and chose black for myself. Till now, I hadn't realised that his hands looked awkwardly large compared to the screen.
"If I capture your piece, you will answer my question and if you capture mine, you will do the same.", I put out a challenge to make the game more interesting.
"No problem.", he said, as if he was a chess champion. Well, I would like to exaggerate that, I am good at chess, and won the best chess player award at university. So, will I give him a chance to win? Nah.
He started the game by putting the pawn on the e5 and the game began.

Hell or heaven, he is good. I mean the best rival I ever met in my life. We captured tonnes of each other's pieces and didn't have time to begin the questionnaire session.
With the last move...
"Checkmate.", I said with satisfaction.
Darcian was still astonished by his failure. Feeling sad for the boy, but as powerful wins the game, likewise, the trickster wins in chess. I am kind of proud to checkmate him with just Bishop and Knight.
And...
*drumroll*
It's time for a questionnaire session. I got to ask him 18 questions.

Ans. "Because the Lord washed everybody's memory and took them for himself. The memory must be tragic. Or else, the Lord wouldn't have to be in deep slumber."

Ans. "Did you mean?"
13. "Why are you trying to awaken him after 100 years, not earlier or later?"
Ans. "We have been doing this before, but the rituals are always unsuccessful. You all happen to be his 26th sacrifice batch."
14. "Is there any chance of living after the sacrifice is made?"
Ans. "Depends. If the Lord gets awakened, he can remove all of your memory and everyone will go safe and sound. But if it doesn't, you will all end up dying."
15. "Don't you feel bad, sacrificing our innocent souls?"
Ans. "I do."
I blinked a few times to register the answer. I just asked jokingly, but he seemed to be sincere.
16. "Then why sacrifice us?"
Ans. "Because I am not the one who is given the power to control."
17. "Why do you get so many mood swings?"
Ans. "Instability of mind."
18. "The last question on the questionnaire is, are you a servant or an aristocrat?"
Ans. "I happen to be Lord Sebastian's brother."
"Cousin Brother?", I asked.
"End of questionnaire session. It's my turn", he simply answered.
He got to ask me 14 questions. And here we go...
