Chapter 3-Morgan turns 14

Morgan POV

Well tonight's the night its the first full moon after my and Selena's 14th birthday and we should be recieving our wolf tonight.

I feel odd l cant quite explain it, in my head it feels like l keep getting the sensation that a pulse keeps running through me, its not unpleasant just odd as if I'm too close to a speaker and the base ripples through you.

My father had gone all out for Selena birthday she actually got a phone, money, makeup and a beautiful chocolate cake in the shape of the full moon, l got a shove and a bruise on my arm, when l got shoved out the way by her on my birthday as she was going out seeing her friends. Unlike me she is very popular everyone loves her. l on the other hand am just a nuisance l don't even get fed around here anymore as my father goes to pack meeting and eats there and Selena is over a friends house. l usally cook for myself which l am surprisingly good at, what ever l try works out well and now l have a job cleaning in the motel just outside the pack border. l can afford some nice food, but l don't get alot I'm saving but what l do get, l’m happy with.

l happened to get caught stealing some supply's ( it was some shampoo and tissue) and after l calmed down and explained to the manager that l really need them and when l find a job l promised to pay him back he gave me the job there and then as long as l promised not to cry again, l was so happy l hugged him which was rather hard as he, the manager Jack is a massive man, well over 6ft 6 and broad but l was so happy l managed I. He just chuckled gave an uncomfortable pat on my back and that was that. l explained l hadn't got a phone and he gave me an old one of his and put credit on I too. His is the only number in the phone, but l don't care its mine and old but has an alarm which is handy.

Anyway by the time night hits l know l don't have a wolf. l just feel alone as always, so l start walking towards the woods l feel as though I am being pulled and l let myself be lead by it. Suddenly in the distance l hear a long happy howl and l just know its my sister. Suddenly through the trees l hear running and lm knocked over by grey wolf she turns and licks me.

"Hi I'm Lila" she says full of energy and gives me a sniff and c***s her head at me

'you smell like her but diffrent what are you..??" she seems puzzled.

Its funny to see a wolf with a human voice come from it, l must be able to hear her already as I'm part werewolf although l’m slowly starting to wonder what part if any do l have

I’m about to answer when another howl is heard this time its full of command l know its Matheson his wolf might only be young but he already has a stong Alpha present, suddenly she darts back in the woods heading towards the others, I know they will be doing a full moon run to welcome her.

It's at this very time l realise I'm not a werewolf like the rest of them I'm just human

"of course I'm human" l say out loud bitterly to myself.

"l mean why would l be gifted with a wolf l don't fit in, anyway they ignore me leave when l enter a room , they look at me like im nothing why would l want anything in common with any of them" l say bittey to myself as l sit there l can feel the anger rise within me the more l think about being human the more annoyed l become until l cannot stand it anymore l have to get up and walk maybe that will calm me down, as l walk l can feel the anger start running through me and l begin to cry and right on que it begins to rain, its like it does it on purpose l just look up at the sky

" f**k YOU " l scream into the rain "f**k all of you" l scream louder as the thunder begins suddenly l feel it a pulse of electricity it make me stop in my tracks as l look up l can feel my hair standing on end as the thunder builds l know whast coming as l raise my hands skywards and within a split second I'm hit with a massive bolt of lightning.

It enters from my finger tips running down my arms and throught my entire body it feels amazing, it made me feel alive as l open my eyes l swear l can see the energy all around me l can feel the earth at my feet l can feel the air l am connected to it all suddenly a low rumble begins again and this time l’m ready l raise my hand upwards ready to receive it again, but this time l feel something else, it has wrapped around me and l can hear a voice

"welcome little one lve been waiting for you" it says in a hush tone.

As l scan around l know I'm alone but l don't feel alone l feel someone of something is standing next to me

"Who are you l say" but it's barley a whisper.

Nothing is said but l can feel a presence wrap around me like its embrassing me, suddenly the thunder builds and the electric lifts. Then l feel something land on me and push me on the floor, as l look up l see Samson, Matherson wolf next to me pinning me down, l go to stand but he won't let me he is just laying across my chest pinning until l see Alpha Matther and Max come running up. As they look at the scean l see Samsons eyes blank as he is telling them something in mind link

"she needs her help Samson" Appollo pleas with him l promise you its alright just move and let her....shit can she hear us" sudden silence as he c***s his head at me l just look blank and confused to be honest its not really hard as l bloody am confused how can l hear the mind link if l have no wolf maybe its because l was born from a wolf l don't understand, but at the moment my only concern was getting this lump off me.

"Samson get off me now, Matheson can you hear me get off me" l say while trying to push him off he just looks at me and licks my nose

"ewwwe stop Samson" l say but l cant help but laugh it tickles and he looks so cute so l can't really be annoyed l just rub his face in my hands which make him lick me again.

Suddenly "GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR " is all you can hear all 3 are growling at the trees and l see their problem, its a woman, shes wearing a cloak so all you can see is her figure as she approaches Appollo and Max stop and let her near me but Samson seems to refuse to get off me then l see Appollo has mind linked him l cant hear this time maybe it was a fluke but with a wimper he gets off.

"It OK sweetie I'm hear to help here drink this" and hands me a flask.

"Nnnooo" a voice can be heard as the flask is flung out of her hand.

"shes mine we belong together" it hisses at her.

'Not now not today... EICIO" she crys the last word out into the night with a wave of her hand a light is emited then there is silence.

As l sit up we both look into the trees to see but nothing is there

"Ok please drink this" she says as the flask appears within her hand

"uhh lm not really happy with..." l begin

"please Morgan do as she says she is here to help" Appollo pleads with me either his big puppy eyes

l sigh in defeat

"ok l will drink it if you say its safe" l trying to convince my self now but what else can l do l might not be wolf but he is still my Alpha lm supprised he could have used his command on me but he asks me instead so l decide to listen to him.

As soon as l take a sip the liquid hit me, ist bitter but not completly unplesant once its all drunk l just sit there but nothing happens, a couple of minutes pass and still nothing "is this some sort of joke??" l ask annoyed as l get upset it hits me, my head begins to spin quicker and quicker as l look for help darkness creeps up on me and the last thing l know is, is that I'm in someone’s arms they protectivly hold me to them as l snuggle in.

"if this is a dream l’m at least going to enjoy it" was my last thought until blackness swallowed me whole.

l awoke to the sound of my alarm and a very fuzzy head and head ache. Was that all a dream? my memory was begging to become foggy the more awake l became as l looked around l can see the date and l knew l was human l was alone but last night the more l try to think about it the more l cant remember its just foggy l will try and rember later right now l need to get to school.

Matheson/Samsons POV

Today the day the twins get their wolfs although ‘ml positive Selena has a wolf she has all wolf mannerisms including trying to flirt with me I'm not interested l have so much to do so much to learn as a future Alpha the last thing l need is a girlfriend.

"Unless its Morgan. l know you like her, l like her shes so pretty and smells so nice l can't believe you cant smell her" pipes up Samson he might only be a couple months old but hes bloody opinionated although not exactly wrong l do have a soft spot for Morgan shes so quiet shes just in the background but whereever she goes you can feel her presence like an inner aura she has but she is completely unaware of it or the fact she is stunning l think as my mind begins to wander my door opens and in walks my father.

"come on son ist time to welcome the new wolf into our pack.lets go"

"hang on you only said wolf shouldn't it be wolfs both Selena and Morgan should be getting them tonight" l add with curiosity l study him as hes trying to think of a reply l sweat it looks.like he knows something.

" Yes of course come on we can't be late that will not look good"he says quickly and walks hastily out of the room.

Soon we are on the sacred spot of our pack. Its where the moon light hits the horizon, as soon as it does the change will begin.

l look around and there is only Selena and James there l’m shocked but before l get to ask, the transformation begins and within 5 minutes there stands a grey wolf where once Selena was she howls at the moon with delight then suddenly sniffs the air and runs off into the wood l’m completly stunned normaly they wait for the Alpha to welcome them, so l decide to follow her and as soon as l get to a clearing in the woods l see her and the new wolf they have a brief encounter but l know my father will be waiting so l howl at her to return and she does as l command but l stay and watch Morgan as she begins to get upset the more upset she becomes, the more l want to comfort her suddenly clouds begin to appear around her like out of no where.

"what the hell is happening" l say to myself as l watch the more upset she get the harder it begins to rain when suddenly she begins to shout and then the thunder begins to rumble l watch in amazement she seems to be complelty unaware she is doing it then l can feel I,t the electricity it shimmers across the ground making my fur stand on end l try to move to help her but lm stuck and watch in amazement as she begins to hover in the air her hair flying all around her, her eyes closed suddenly the lightening hits her and her eyes shoot open l watch as she looks all around, her eyes are pure grey like the cloud itself she looks ethereal.

Then l see it, a swarm of blackness begin to enclose all around her in a rhythm, and l feel Samson take over and we are now ontop of her trying to stop the darkness seeping into her l can't l feel it, l’m loosing when Apollo and Max turn up I'm so relieved.

"help me, ist trying to take her" l tell them in a panic

Suddenly l see another shadow and l begin to growl along with my father and Max as she... the shadow becomes closer l see she a witch and l growl again.

"Matheson let Samson take over" l look in shock and shake my head.

"Im sorry" my father "l command you to allow Samson to take full control and with that darkness take me over.

"WHY do l ..?" I ask annoyed in mind link

"we were both helping he wouldn't hurt her" l say annoyed that my father has made me block out Matheson but l look and its not my father its Appollo and Max in complete control.

" Its for her and Mathesons protection, both of them cannot know her true power until the time is right" he states " Now move so she can help her" he command me.

As l move l watch her she sees the darkness too, and commands in Latin for it to be cast away. Thats when l knew what she wa,s the lady like Morgan,they are both witches l couldnt belive it but it all made perfect sense now.

l returned back to my human form just as she finally got her to drink from the flask as l got closer l could see Morgan begin to sway and l caught her in my arms on instinct l picked her up but she maybe rather tall but she felt so light was nothing to my already 6ft height l manged to hold her without any problems she fits perfectly as l secured my hold she snuggled in, l couldnt help but smile she was so warm and smelt so good l was actually enjoying myself as l look down l could feel l was being watched as there stood all 3 Max looking unamused but both the Woman and my father had a slight grin on their faces.

"Right lets get her back home to bed" my father States and leads the way once placed in bed he turns to me and Max l know whast coming and l understand.

"l command both of you never to speak of tonight with anyone including your human part..understand" we just both nod in agreement.

"here Alpha take this and you too it will help" the woman says handing him and ourselves a sweet.

As l go to thank her l notice she has gone so l pop the sweet into my mouth its sweet and just a bit like a jelly the more l chew and begin to make my way outside suddenly l’m completely confused.

l look to see my father and James looking a bit baffled too we just stare at each other until we hear the howl of my mother sounding rather pissed off we all change into our wolfs and set off to find her.

The next day is all anyone can talk about how we have a human in the pack l’m confused at first l can't quite remember last night then l rember Morgan she wasn't there the l knew what she was she was just human, well what can l do as l get up and make my way to Alpha training.
