Kade's POV.
**1000 YEARS LATER**
I inhaled the air as the wind blew past me this morning. As I exhaled, I inhaled again and that’s when I smelt something. I inhaled a third time to smell the scent again. It was a nice sweet scent. I have never smelt anything like that in all my 1000 years. I followed it around the corner and across the street until I found myself in a park.
I have never been to this park before. It had a pond in the centre where several humans were feeding ducks. Others were either here to read or run or just enjoy the view of the pond. There weren’t many humans as it was only about four in the afternoon, most would definitely be finishing work. With the small number of humans around, I don’t think it would be difficult for me to find the owner of the scent that caught
