The way he bowed his head, looked me in the eye, and called me senorita was enough to make any girl's panties drop, it's a good thing I'm not just any girl. I do have to admit the thought did occur to me that he could give me some wild nights. Shaking the thought out of my head, I walked in to talk to the head of the museum office with a silly grin on my face. "Good morning Ms. Doyle, welcome to the Templo Mayor Museum, I hope that your flight was alright?" "Yes sir it was fine, Mr. De Leon and mentioned that I would be doing some fieldwork, is that right?" " Would that be a problem, I was told that you have some experience with it?" I look at him quite dumbfounded, the only fieldwork I have done was with my father. "I'm sorry who told you that?" He said that Mr. Andrews had quite an extensive file on me and it seems that he also had my father's file. "Oh well I did go with my father on some of his trips to South America when I was in high school, but I don't think that it would be considered as experience." Pro. Mendoza looked me over and said, "you don't look like your father, but of course I didn't have the pleasure of meeting your mother." "Oh, you knew my father?" I ask. He tells me that he meet him when he was fresh out of university and worked his first field together. Maybe he can tell me some stories of how it was back then. After our meeting, he shows me to the office that I will be sharing with Mr. De Leon.
After setting up my desk the way I wanted it was evident that Zuma was stealing glances at me from his desk, I somehow got brave and asked if there was something he liked. The next thing I knew, he was at my desk turning my chair to face him and lifting my chin to face him. He said with all the sexy Mexican accent he could exude "and if there is senorita, what will you do about it?" I slowly looked into his eyes, down to his mouth, and bit my bottom lip. with his fingertip, he pried it out of my teeth and I sucked his finger giving him a taste of what it would feel like for real. He let out a small moan and was getting closer to kiss me when my books fell off my desk and I realized that I was just daydreaming. Man do I need to get laid, I thought to myself.
Zuma POV
When I left her at Pro. Mendoza's office I went to clean up the other side of my office, last week when I was told that I would be sharing an office, I thought to myself, I'm not a maid let miss little American clean for herself, but not that I have met her I was not going to let her think that I was a slob so I maid it nice and vacant for her. When I was done with that task, I decided to look over the plans for the fieldwork that we would be doing next week. I have already had a crew of men digs up the sight and I was hoping that they did not break any of the original architecture and when Alma came into the office I didn't realize she was setting up until her books fell off her desk and that she was blushing. How someone with such beautiful brown sugar skin can blush so red. All I know is that I want to be the reason that she blushes. God, what am I thinking, she will never go for a guy like me. She is too perfect for the like of me. I rush to help her pick up the books and ask if she is alright. "oh yeah I just what surprised that they fell it just startled me." she said.
It's been a very long week, and it was hard to concentrate on writing my thesis because of my crazy imagination. When we finally made it to the site my imagination had made it to home base. I was ready for a change in scenery. Zuma was a man of action, telling the crew where they had to clear the dirt and not touch any of the finds. When out of my peripheral vision I spotted something shiny in the dirt, upon closer inspection I noticed it had Hieroglyphics on it something that I had not seen in a while. when I went to pick it up, Zuma must have seen it too, because we both reached for it at the same that's when Earth began to shake, realizing that we're in the middle of an earthquake we all decided to run for cover. The workers ran to their trucks and Zuma and I ran into a cave and we became trapped after the rock slide.
After the rockslide, we tried to yell for the other side to see if the crew members can try to remove the rocks. All we heard was silence
We fumbled in the darkness until Zuma pulled out his flashlight. We tried to use our cell phones to see if there was any way that we can get through to the other side and have somebody remove the rocks so that we can get out. But our phones were not showing any service. I told Zuma that we needed to find a way out because we didn't have any food or water and if the earthquake was strong enough to create a rockslide, we don't know what the damage will be on the other side. The cave we were in was wet and we thought that possibly it led to a stream So we decided to walk to see where the end of the cave led.
I was examining the artifact that we had found in the dirt. The writing was very faded and I was using my cell phone light to look at the artifact and try to see the writing that was on it. With my tiny little brush, I cleaned up most of the dirt so that I can see the writing It looks like it tells the story of a Union between a Warrior and a princess I told Zuma.
Together we decided to try to decipher the meaning of the artifact while we Made our way to the stream that we can hear up ahead when suddenly a big Flash of light hit us and we were temporarily blinded When the light finally dimmed and we were able to look at where we were the scenery had changed.
