~~Ciro~~
The club roared with life, music boomed from all angles, the smell of cigarettes, musk and s*x filled the air.
I walked straight to my private room, ignoring the dirty looks sluts threw at me. They knew better than to approach.
The door shut behind me, “Let's welcome the man of the hour” Aiden's voice bounced off the soundproof wall followed by cheers.
I rolled my eyes, “Drama King” I plopped down to a chair, a server handed me a glass, I took and nodded for her to leave. She cat walked out, her ass shaking through the see through thong she wore.
Aiden whistled, smacking her ass, “now that's what I'm talking about”
“Aiden” I warned, stopping whatever was about to happen before it began.
“Later” he mouthed at her with a wink, she blew him an air kiss, then turned to me, one look at her froze whatever idea was running through her pretty little head.
She practically ran off.
Aiden stared at me, a frown etched on his face.
“What?” I sipped my wine.
“Spoil sport” he rolled his eyes.
I scoffed, “Brat.”
“Rosa isn't here. The name fits her more” he retorted.
“Keep up with the sharp mouth and I'll hand you off to Kane”
Gasp.
“You wouldn't”
“Try me” I dropped my glass.
His eyes reddened, “so much for being best friends” he muttered.
“What did you say?”
“That you're the best buddy I could have ever wished for” he gritted out.
I smacked my lips.“Thought as much. Kane.”
He materialized from the shadows, “Boss.”
“Update?”
“Merda. [s**t] You have got to stop doing that” Aiden snorted, clutching his chest dramatically.
“Shut it Rucellai” Kane ordered.
“Whatever you say shadow” Aiden huffed.
“Kane.” My voice held a light warning.
“Sorry boss” he lowered his head.
“Update?”
“The shipment has all been recovered, Satu’s child and wife have been taken care of. Everything has been handled.”
“The other spy?”
“I left him as bait. With his colleague dead, he'd lead us right to his source.”
“Mmm..” I hummed, “I want Damien out of my turf before the end of the day” my jaw ticked,
“What's that bastard doing here?” Aiden sneered.
“Don't know, don't care. I want him out or I will take him out” my tone was final.
“Noted boss.”
“Ciro” Rosa burst into the room, her hair packed in a high pony tail. Her heels digging into the tile with clicking sound.
She dragged a red head with her right hand, muffled cries leaving her lips which had been taped shut, the sound of scratching and clawing feeling the air.
Kane melted into the shadow, disappearing the same way he came,
“Awww… where is he going?”
“Stop traumatizing my workers Rosa” my brows furrowed, I tapped rhythmically on the table.
“Don’t be such a kill joy. You should join in the fun sometimes.”
“If that's your idea of fun. Hard pass. What do you want?” I paused “and release her”
“You make it sound like I'm unwanted.” She whined, her voice becoming babyish.
“Your playthings are unwanted.”
"Fine,” she opened the door, dragged the tear stricken red head out, and slammed the door.
“I'm getting married”
“What?” her pupils widened, “not waiting for your sunshine any more? Well it's about time”
“He's getting married to her,” Aiden added.
“Finally. I've got so much to get ready, I have a wedding to plan" she squealed.
“Do not bring bloodshed to my wedding Rosa” I warned, killing any idea she gets before it blossomed.
“Awwn” that's sad, “well, I'll find other things too. Bye bro, bye Aiden” she giggled excitedly, slamming the door shut behind her.
"Yikes, she still hasn't gotten rid of her bad character” Aiden shuddered.
“Shut it” I snapped.
“Sorry boss,” he raised his hand in submission.
“Mmm”
“She agreed to marry you?”
“She will,” I shrugged.
“And if she runs?” he added, staring intently at me.
“I'm counting on it.”
“I know that look, don't tell me you're going to break her after looking for her for years. You have remained celibate waiting for her.”
“I won't break her Aiden. My kitten is stronger than you think” I smirked.
“I know that look”
“What look?”
“The one that screams, I'm planning something dangerously evil and waiting for someone to cross me” he mumbled.
“Don't know what you're talking about.”
“She's innocent.” He sighed.
“Stop talking about my kitten” I glared at him.
“Yeah right. She hasn't even agreed to your supposed marriage yet”
“Patience, Aiden. Patience.”
Grrrrrr.
The ring of Aiden's phone cut through the air.
“Yes.” he nodded, his pupils dilated, “understood. We'll be there soon”
“Issue?” I asked immediately after the call ended.
“You're wife to be escaped” he chuckled, amusement flickering in his eyes.
“Sapevo che non mi avrebbe annoiato, let's go hunt.”
[I knew she wouldn't bore me, let's go hunt.]
“Aye aye, captain”
