Amber's POV.
I walked briskly down the hallway with one sole aim in mind as I headed towards Zeus's room. I had to tell him about Rose. I didn't notice someone was walking towards my direction until I bumped into one of the guards.
"Sorry." I quickly apologized and increased my pace.
Different thoughts coursed through my mind as I knocked gently on the door and waited. When there was no response, I pushed it open a little bit and peeked into the room.
It was dark as usual, but I could make out someone's figure on the bed. I couldn't tell if he was fast asleep or awake, so I walked in and closed the door gently behind me.
