Amber’s POV.
“Is there a reason why you’re avoiding Zeus?” Elara asked as we strolled into the courtyard to get some supplies that the guards left there.
“I am not avoiding him.” I replied curtly. “I just don’t want any issues with Miss Anita so I mostly just stay away.” I explained because I knew that Elara would never let things be unless I tell her why.
We walked over to the large vase that was in the center of the courtyard and lifted it.
Elara grumbled about how this should be the guards job and not ours, I simply smiled and didn’t respond. It was of no use to complain when the head maid had already made up her mind to punish us for what happened with Miss Anita that day in the hall.
